Case fits the s8 well. Great protection for my new phone!

Fits my Samsung S8 perfectly. Easy to install, the only drawback is it doesn't come with a screen protection. I knew that prior to purchasing it. But really protects my new device. I would recommend this to all my friends.

Just like the other otter boxes I've had this one works well with my new S8. I've dropped it a few times already and it keeps it from breaking, especially with this curved glass on each side. Only thing I think they should be including is a tempered glass protector as well. I bought one off Amazon to complete the protection, all the glass offered at Best Buy was far too expensive.

Otterbox Defender is a hard shell with foam between shell and phone. It is surrounded by a 'rubber' cover. The cover nicely snugs to the edges of the screen. The thickness of the top and bottom edge allows the phone to be put screen down and now scratch the screen. The top and bottom thickness keeps the screen off the flat surface.

Yes, I spent a lot of money for my phone and want the best protection. I feel like the Otterbox gives me that. The Defender is nice cause of the belt hook separate part. I can use it to just hook the phone, turn it around for extra protection. And it will hook to my pants, phone anywhere. I don't use the connection to my pants often since as a girl, I have a couple of curves in my waist area and the Samsung GS8 is a little large. Hooked to my purse gives me extra security. The color is great. I had bought the blue which is also nice, but decided I like the pink. I have dropped my phone a couple of times, but a hard fall on concrete yet. So far so good. If you want protection. This case is the one.

ok last 3 phones have been Samsung. but they all have 1 thing in common otter box defender this one 1 know different. need a sturdy case and holster. otter gives me secure protection for my phone. only this 1 didn,t come with a screen protection .had to buy.didnt matter love there product and it comes with a warrenty

I like the feel and grip of the Otterbox Defender. It does not add a lot of extra weight to the phone. I haven't dropped my phone yet, but I can tell it will be well protected in case I do.

I had purchased a less expensive case at a discount store and quickly became dissatisfied after dropping the phone. The phone survived but I could tell the case was not holding together well, so purchased this Otterbox. I have dropped it a few times since and am completely satisfied with its protection.

Had my s4 for four years, had the same otterbox on it the entire time and when I finally took the case off, the phone still looked brand new. When it was finally time to get a new phone, I was quite disappointed that because of the s8's new edgeless screen that there would be no screen protection included with the s8 version of the defender. Ya know what? It was the right move. I paired this case with a Zagg Invisishield and it looks so much better than the old s4 case, with comparable protection. And now that you can get this case for $23, and the invisishield for $25, it's roughly the same amount I paid for the old otterbox with a screen protector. I'm happy.

It's an otter. It's sturdy, has a nice heft that I like. (Phones are so light these days, I feel like I will lose and smash it.) It is great Protection on the back, while open on front, and doesn't hinder wireless charging. Plus it doesn't muffle my speaker like my old LifeProof case did.

I was skeptical about putting this on our new S8 Galaxy phones. If you keep the clip/cover on it is a really good case. Very slim and easy to hold too. Without the case, a fall in the gravel might be fatal. I dropped mine on concrete and it just bounced like an OtterBox should. The ends are actually raised to provide a "stand off" from the glass when the phone is face down. The wife tried a Speck case (it was pretty) but switched to this after nearly shattering her phone. It doesn't have the plastic screen protector like the previous cases due to the curved glass. It has saved both of our phones from two falls. Thanks Otters!!!!
