good protection for an expensive phone. glad they matched price on Amazon though, saved at least $10 off. would be nice to have more selection in the store, but that could have just been at the time i was there.

Case is for my daughter's phone...if it does the job like the Otterbox she had for her S5...then its 5 stars...many drops and no damage, saved me hundreds in screen repairs.

Always the right fit. Had an off brand but broke the belt clip easily. Back to Otterbox. Just wish they had a good choice for glass protection. Not paying their price for it.

I'm a loyal otterbox defender purchaser so I do love the quality of this case. Only downfall is there's no screen protector! Yet it still provides a great deal of protection!

Nice case, screen protector not included. Fits perfectly and really provides great protection for my phone. New case also comes in some cool more modern color combinations.

My husband works outside and is very rough on phones. From drops to oops, this otterbox helps to protect his phone. Third phone with an otterbox, no insurance claims yet!

This is a real rugged case, fits nice. My only complaint is the built in cover for the charger port, when you flip it open it kinda twists the rubber on the bottom edge. Other than that, it's very nice.

Got my first Otter case with my new Samsung Galaxy 8. Love the case. Great protection, great buttons for the sides of the phone. And color selection matches my phone.

This is as important if not more so than the Zagg shield I put on my new phone. This is my second OtterBox and I wouldn't trust my cell phone to any other product.

However, the price you pay for that protection is a considerably bulkier phone. Also, the sleep & volume buttons are a little harder to push in. However, in my opinion, both are worth the price.

Attention put your phone case on before you add screen protector so you can see where you need to start film or glass. This case moves ever so slightly and if you screen film is to close to an edge you will be annoyed at the bubbles it will cause. With that said onto the case. Rugged, grip, bounce, and bulky are a few words I would use to describe this case. It feels tough in your hand and the rubber outside gives you a secure feeling when holding it. It you drop it will bounce I dropped it from my jacked up pickup several times and no damage can be seen. Now the bulk. Good luck getting this sucker in a pocket with ease. The rubber outside grips onto everything so even a pair of gym shorts may require some extra effort. The size also makes it not ideal for front pockets on jeans and since the risk of sitting on your phone is a factor it's the main place your going to end up keeping it. I also ended up cutting off the rubber flaps that covers the aux plug and power connector. I understand They are meant to keep.out moisture and dirty but the phone is already water resistant. They are really annoying to try and plug in charger while driving or for anytime for that matter. Over all good case but I went and spent half the price on a different brand that starts with a "S" and ends with an "n" which feels just as rugged but with a slimmer profile.

The Otter Box defender is a super tough case. Definitely go with the defender series for ultimate protection. Little bulky but you phone will not end up broken.

If you are looking to maintain the integrity of the weight and thickness of the Galaxy S8, keep looking. This is built for protection and is very hardy, but bulky. I bought it because it has an excellent reputation for being sturdy and I do NOT want to break my phone! It feels nice in my hand, is non-slip and I like the color. I guess it's a matter of opinion, in the end. I wanted sturdy protection.

What I like most about this case is that it is not slippery. My hands/fingers have difficulty gripping, items tend to slip out easily, but not with this case.

I was surprised it was a screenless case, but overall and pleased with the case and the protection it provides. I am someone who needs a belt clip and otter box provides that with this item.

Great case so far, I've dropped .y phone tons of times already without a scratch, kinda wished it had a screen protector but I bought a zagg to go with this

I use these on ever phone we have, has saved our phones numerous times. My wife is always dropping her phone and this case has prevented any glass breakage.

I have used OtterBox as my phone protector for three different phones now. Everything fit as expected. Since it was also on sale, it was a great value, too!
