This case is perfect for protecting the device and does not inhibit use of the touch screen. It does take a little time to get use to the amount of pressure you have to apply to get the power and volume buttons to work, but one you get that your good to go! The stand option is GREAT! I use it to set the Tab3 up next to my lap top at work what a great combo!

Best case ever. I got this case for $25 and have to say I would not have only gone back and bought it again, I would be happy with purchase at full price. This case is strong, protective and covers the screen with a shell when not in use, and it doubles as a stand. Great product.

case provides excellent protection while transporting and using device. a little bulky when using device while its snapped into cover but not a deal breaker. cover doubles as stand, shows 4 viewing angles, 2 hor & 2 vert but found that 2 of them tend to be too upright for tab not to fall out or slip down. Overall does what it says and i like the style and function better than any other case iv'e seen, esp. samsungs own line

What can I say that we don't already know about Otterbox products? They're great and offer excellent protection. I bought this case to protect a tablet from my 2 year old son, and although he hasn't dropped or thrown it as often as I thought he would, this case has certainly helped it withstand some of the abuse that he has thrown the tablets way! The fact that this case also doubles as a tablet stand for consuming media makes it even greater.

Since i have a small grandchildren this was a perfect solution for me. Even I may accidentally drop the tablet. The tablet is protected and also has a very useful stand. Very worth the price.

It is a little bulky but it excellent for my 3 year old. I don't have to worry about her dropping an breaking it!

This is durable and keeps my tablet safe and protected. There is also a stand to make it easier to watch movies and videos!!

This case seems indestructible. It's easy to open & close. Has a built-in stand for easy viewing. It really does protect the tablet. I did remove the thin plastic cover that covers the screen for better touch response, though. I think it works just fine that way.

This case is amazing. I have heard about OtterBox products and how sturdy they are but never have I had one. My tablet is an older version and I feel like I should protect it more because of that. This case is from the defender series and after having experience with another case already the OtterBox case overshadows it. I love it and am very confident nothing will happen to damage my tablet with this case.

I took advantage of an online price that was lower at Tiger direct. The headache was worth it in the end. I love the chill mat, but the store sales people are either avoiding you or watching to see if you are honest. I had to go get the item and show the sales person the product code was in fact that item. This store really could use new members who understand respect is a 2 way street.

I recommend Otterbox products for all mobile devices. They are high quality, durable, flexible and useful unlike many other competing products. This one has a fold-down stand built into it which is exactly what I needed when using my Galaxy Tab 3 on the road, mostly for movie viewing or reading. Great product as always from Otterbox.

I am a wrecker operator and have my tablet mounted in the truck but sometimes have to use it outside the truck. I've dropped it twice but thanks to the otter nothing happened!!! Wiped the dirt off and kept on working!!!! I love it. Got this and a defender for my phone!!!!!

We had a Survivor case on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, and although it was durable, was very cumbersome and bulky. Plus the screen protector was not a snug fit. Enter the Otterbox Defender case. 1st, it looks much better. Not that I am always going for aesthetics, but it really looks better built and it has a much nicer appearance . 2nd, it feels good in the hands. It's very easy to hold. My wife and I have smaller hands, and we have no trouble holding onto the tablet now. 3rd, I don't have to punch the screen with my fingers. The screen protector covers very close, so that the touch relay response is very good.

Got this for our 9-year-old foster child who brought a tablet with him when he moved in. (We would never have given a tablet to a 9-year-old!) It's already saved us from a broken tablet at least twice. OtterBox is the ABSOLUTE BEST!

Total package protection! The only thing I don't like is how quickly the screen protector gets messy.... Maybe something that repels grime, or a multi layer protector that peels away and can be replaced when it runs out...

I bought an Otter Box for my iPhone and I loved it so much that I bought another when I bought my next iPhone. So it was only natural that I bought another Otter Box when I got a new Samsung Tablet 3. And Otter Box doesn't disappoint. It's great when I snap the cover to the back position when I want to use my tablet as a hand-held device. It has two positions when I.want to. rest my tablet on a table. And best of all, when I want to protect my screen after using it, the Otter Box gives me great peace of mind.

This otter box is super chold proof for my tablet. I have a 2yr and 10 month old at home and this product has saved my tablet through the worst with no damaged.

Great knowing that my tablet is protected if dropped while also providing protection for the screen. Love how the cover snaps to the back when not in use. Of course this means you have to take it off again before you can take pictures. So you might miss a couple of those spur of the minute moments.
