Offers good protection all around. Don't have to worry when it is thrown in a back pack. Also like the clear screen cover. Only negative, it is difficult to push the on/off button due to the protection. Alternatively, surprise it does not have a plug for the mini usb port. Reasonable price for good protection.

I had read prior reviews and I was on the fence about it when I read that you could get glare from the screen cover. However, it's not bad and it does not take away from the screen resolution. The tablet is enclosed in a hard rubber casing which is great for younger children in case they drop it. It does add a bit of thickness to the tablet, but not by much. It has a hard plastic back cover that you can use to stand/lean the tablet on. It snaps on/off on the hard rubber case. I returned the Samsung case and bought another one for my other tablet.

Needing to protect a device from normal wear and tear? The otterbox is for you. I've had this product on all my iPhones, and they have proven to the task of keeping things safe. Sure they add a lil weight at first. But won't notice a couple of days later. They are designed with the everyday use, like a stand incorporated in the clip(holster). Can't go wrong with a commercial based durability.

This case is very reliable. Strong, sturdy, and fits perfectly. The Otterbox line is more expensive than others, but you get the quality you pay for. You can't put a price on peace of mind, or maybe you can if you have to buy another tablet or pay for an expensive repair. I highly recommend this cover.

If you are like me and take your tablet with you just about everywhere you go then you need an Otter Box Defender to protect it. I bought this one for my girlfriends Note 8 that I'm planning on giving her for Christmas. It does add a bit more weight to it but for the added protection, It's worth it.

This product is great and I like that the screen cover doesn't affect the touch sensitivity of the screen. My only complaints is the built in stand does not prop the tablet high enough for portrait or landscape viewing and the case is actually kind of heavy for a 6 year old to hold up for viewing. Other than that I like the peace of mind that the tablet with in is safe and can't be broken.

Tuff to put together too. Maybe I was a bit impatient. Dropped down wooden stairs, the case was tough, and so was the TAB A. This is my 2nd OtterBox, I will recommend to anyone' It has a real tight fit.

I've purchased several tablets over the last couple of years, and always got cases for them, but never an Otterbox. I've always been tough on tablets (though not phones) so this time, when I got a new Galaxy Tab A, I decided to get an Otterbox. It's already proved itself to be worth the hefty investment. I've dropped my tablet twice and had it be perfectly protected. I will definitely continue to purchase Otterboxes for any future tablets.

This case is just as you would expect from an Otterbox case. It fits perfectly to the tablet and is extremely rugged construction. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is becasue like all of these type cases I have from Otterbox the integrated screen protector is very high gloss. This can create some glare issues in certain lighting conditions.

I dropped my last tablet with another protector, the screen cracked! Best Buy worker recommended this and it's perfect! I've dropped and nothing ! No crack nothing! It's great!

I was looking for a case to protect tablets for an 8 and a 10 year old. Not a bad price, but not great either. Still, it's better than having to worry about replacing the tablet. Only real complaint is that the clear plastic protective layer tends to hamper some of the screen responsiveness at times. All in all, decent value.

And easy to install. It is much cheaper than buying from the phone company. So far, it is fine. I haven't yet dropped the phone to know how well it works, but the reviews were good and I have had good experiences with this product in the past.

This OtterBox is great protection for my grandaughters tablet. Adds to the bulk of it, but well worth it..

I love Otterbox products and don't buy any other brands for my mobile devices. I have dropped my tablet once or twice with no issues. It is a bit bulky, but worth it for the worry-free protection. Built-in screen protector does not impact touch screen use. Vertical stand does not work well as described in the instructions because the tablet ends up top heavy due to the stand not being tall enough. Still very happy with product.

What better case/ shell to protect a new Christmas tablet than OtterBox? I can't say enough good things about this product line when it comes to cases/ shells that protect expensive electronic devices. And---the Black Friday sale price offered @ Best Buy made it an even sweeter deal!

Otterbox is a good quality brand regardless of what product is purchased. This is third otterbox product that has been purchased for our family. It joins an otterbox defender case for a phone and a commuter case for another phone. This product is very durable and usable for the price. very happy with this purchase.

I was unaware that OtterBox produced a cover for the Samsung tablet like they have for the Samsung phones. I'm on my 3rd Samsung phone & I will never purchase any other cover than OtterBox. Tough, durable, perfect for "not so careful" kids. I'm so glad I found one for my grandson's tablet.
