We’re sorry to see that you’re having some issues with your OtterBox Defender. It’s a fine line we walk between maximum protection and size of the case, so unfortunately, not much to be done there. But, we would certainly like to help with the trouble you’re having with the screen sensitivity.
Generally, a reinstallation of the device, facedown into the screen protector, will give you a smooth, flush fit. This should help to alleviate the issue, but if you find that it persists, please feel free to give our friendly Otters a call at 1-855-688-7269, and we’ll be happy to set you up with a warranty claim for a replacement lid/base assembly.
