i bought this because the salesperson told me this was the case that was. i thought this was the hardcore defender. case isn't too bad though. it is protected when it has been dropped though lint has traveled through the open button slot and trapped behind the screen. it is very annoying and the only thing that keeps this from being 4 stars.

This case is well worth the money. It may seem like alot but it has protected my phone from falls that would destroy any phone. I work in commercial construction and it has held up to falling off of ladders at over 6ft.

My job require me to climb, jump and, run. So I don't have time to worry about my phone breaking. I have drop my phone from off a roof and it still looks like the day I got it.

This case has it all but nothing comes without a price. Perfect fit with a nice screen protector, Nice belt clip but very bulky. The phone is big enough without a case. Still great protection as usual from OtterBox.

It is a great case if you are worried about your phone going through a rough experience. It was too much protection for me, I ended up going with the commuter series and love it, Otter Box makes really good cases, so if you are looking for some barrier of protection from sand and dirt or glue this is the case for you. Otherwise make sure you really want a bulky case.

This is my third Otterbox Defender case and I will not have a smartphone without one! I have dropped my phone on the pavement many times and have not even scratched the phone. If you want the best protection available get the Otterbox....simple as that!

Purchased this for my husband's Note 4. Great value and protection for the phone. Otterbox has great customer service. This is the 3rd Otterbox he has had and if there has been an issue with any of the cases, they have sent out a replacement quickly.

I will tell you the only reason it is not 5 stars. When encased and holstered as a viewing stand, the audio ports are blocked, muffling the sound from speakers. I would add, as a possible negative, the added width and weight which doubles both. Not an issue for me, as it makes it highly durable. The holster and clip, which is a stand, is also tough.

I love my Note4 and have to have good protection for it. I tend to be rough with phones. I have already dropped my phone twice since getting it and this case has done wonders.

The best case for Note 4 protection! Built in screen protector does not interfere with S pen. Clip holster can double as a stand for video viewing. You can not beat the price when you take these features into consideration.

The Defender Otter Box is a great phone protector... especially considering that the cost to replace a Note 4 would be $800. It's a little difficult to figure out how to get the phone in there the first time (look for the You Tube video -- very helpful!) but it's worth the effort. The only thing I would warn you about is to NOT use another screen protector (like Zagg HDX) with it. The Otter Box has a built in screen protector and by using both, you will get some weird issues where it looks like water is trapped between the phone and the Otter Box screen protector. Actually, I removed the screen protector from the case and left my Zagg on it... I feel that the Zagg will allow for a better display and it provides better screen protection.

This otterbox case is very sturdy and protects my phone well. It has a snap on case so it can be clipped to your pants. I am very happy with this purchase.

I wanted to protect my investment. This does the job smartly. Be prepared, It makes a large phone even larger and bulkier. That's the price for the confidence inspiring rigidity. No bendy phones here folks.

The otterbox phone cover is the best phone protection money can buy...I've dropped my phone off the top of my truck "on accident of course." It it has saved my phone on many occasions. Best ever!

This case is great.I have used several otter box cases before. This version is a little different, as the rubber does not have a lot of room to stretch. I feel that it will hold its shape a lot better.

Otter box, best case you can buy for any phone, I had one on my Samsung S3, dropped in the street many times and nothing happened, not a scratch, just bought a new for note 4, love it.

Even though it may take away from the looks of the phone, it will protect it. I have dropped it 12' or more and it didn't damage my phone. I would never own a phone without this type of case.

This cover protects your phone from overall, no scratches on the phone. Unintensionally drove over it and the phone didn't suffer a dent. Excellent protection.
