Good general protection, but the iPad was extremely difficult to take out of the Otterbox outer shell. Part of the screen is also exposed when completely shut. They don’t make them like they used to. I used it for a week and switched to the Zagg Rugged Keyboard. Will be returning, not worth the money.

I bought it for my wife. She said she likes it, but has difficulty with the stand. She also wished it had a handle. As far as be sturdy, it gets the job done, like all other Otter products.

This is a very heavy product and the plastic stand broke almost immediately. We still use the case but it is heavy and hard for kids to hold

Gives good protection, and has had a few, simple but effective upgrades since my last one. For someone who can drop his iPad, this provides the necessary protection.

Excellent durability for outdoor use when I’m out and about...whether in parks or tougher weather conditions. The case protects my iPad extremely well, and I truly trust its heavy-duty protection.

If you make a high price purchase, you definitely want to protect it all you can. I love this and it protects the device adding a little more security since our iPad is being packed everywhere

I've owned Otterbox products for years.. for Ipads and for phones... this one is good BUT the compartment that was built for the Apple Pen is almost useless.... It doesn't take much to mistakenly open it potentially lose the pen... The stand is clunky to use and slips sometimes.... there must be a better design.... Come On Guys.... You've been stellar for so long .... there's gotta be someone there to design a better product.....

I’ve been supporting this brand for over 12 years because they’re true leaders in protection. However, in recent years, the pencil flap on this model has become a real issue. On this case, the flap broke just one week after I started using it. It’s simply too fragile and needs to be redesigned or reinforced. Aside from that problem, the case itself is very durable and provides excellent protection. Even with this issue, I still trust the brand and hope they improve this weak point in future versions. ✅ Yes, I would recommend the product, but with caution about the flap.

It is a very protective case but you can’t use a screen protector because the case is too tight and you can’t charge the Apple Pencil while it is in the case.

This case is pretty solid but the extra case that have stand is very awkward. The flap that covers the Apple Pencil charger/hold pencil doesn’t fit. I was able to take the flap off and put it back on. So, i had the flap removed permanently. One nice thing is that the screen protector is part of the case. I plan to keep this case as a backup because I wanted a case with keyboard but they’re expensive. I have decided to go ahead and buy one anyway. My recommendation to buy this case is up to you. I wouldn’t buy it if putting on and taking apart the case is difficult for you.

Really sturdy protection Whole case feels smooth.

Very poor installation instructions. Plastic fittings are hard to unlatch. Feels like you are about to break them. Also the back stand gets easily stuck and require a screwdriver to free the sliding peg. Again, afraid I am about to break it.

Thank you for asking the question “ what was I looking for in a case for my phone”… that narrowed down the option( so many) and I am very satisfied with the otter box! Thanks to the knowledgeable sales person I am completely satisfied!

This protective cover has pluses and a minus. The benefit is it does protect the iPad, due it’s cover, the pen doesn’t have a way to connect.
