The otter box defender normally has a screen but this one doesn’t. Good quality

This phone case has great grip and I especially like the screen less feature.

I have had a otterbox on all my phones for a long time now so the iPhone X is no different. It would be nice if they would come out with a charging case like they did for the iPhone 6 but this will work. Only complaint is after about a year or a lil less of use the rubber starts loosing up and causes gaps on the corners between the hard shell and the rubber outside protector, other then that I love otterbox cases.

Great fit, but was a little disappointed about not having a built in screen protector.

I love this Otter case. I have always been a fan of their products and this one hasn’t let me down. It is designed perfectly for the new iPhone X and I love that the screen is exposed.

This is a must have for anyone who drops there phone every once in a while. I had this on my Android and was very helpful. The belt clip broke many times on the Android and Otterbox replaced it each and everytime. Hopefully I won't have the same issue with this one but if I do, I know Otterbox will stand behind there product.

My youngest son got a new iPhone X, he dropped box with phone before we could even leave the store. He is always accidently dropping his phone and doesn't even have a crack this case protects it like nothing else. My other son had charger case dropped his previous iPhone and then his phones had 100 cracks. Get this case.

I usually buy Ballistic covers for my phone but none were available for the iPhone X in store. I didn’t want to wait. I wanted immediate covering for my new expensive purchase so the Sales people directed me to this model. Very happy. Very secure corners for drop support and a lip on the front in case it falls face down.

While this case is a little more bulky than the last type of protective case I used, it gets the job done. And it is easy to change out when i want to put on a sleeker case for going out. When I am at soccer matches and performing field work out in the elements I like feeling confident that my very expensive phone will be ok.

I have used OtterBox products since my iPhone 4 and never had any problems with protection. I have dropped my phones several times and add grandkids into the mix they have served me well. I was worried st first with the new design for the iPhone 10 with the faceless front. But so far it’s doing great.

I love the otter box defenders they are strong had one on my iPhone 5, so I went for it again on the X, the only disappointing thing is it doesn't have the front protect-ant that my 5 had. Had to purchase a clear covering for the front of the phone, but for strength and protection I love the brand.

If you need the Ultimate protection, this is the case for you. It offers you the confidence that nothing will happen to your phone. Unfortunately his protection comes at a price and the prices is covering up your $1000 phone. This is 5 star protection but it’s like holding a brick. Theres other options that will give you excellent protection without hiding the beauty of your phone and otterbox makes thoes cases too, but this phone needs to be seen or accented not hidden.

was hard to get on and it is very bulky but it makes me feel like i will not smash my phone so i am ok with it

I recently upgraded to the iPhone X from the 6 and wanted to stay with the same style case I have had over the last several years. Before I had the Otterbox Defender Series and it protected my phone from many drops. This case seems that it will be just as heavy duty as before.

Fits well and fully protects phone. Doesn't get in the way of use.

Great case for Protecting your device. But I would definitely recommend adding a glass screen protector to go along with it. The traditional Otter boxes had a plastic cover over the screen. This one is open so you can put a glass screen protector on the device, and then you do not have the issue of dirt and dust getting between the two screens like before. Cons, I do not use the belt clip that comes with it, I put my phone in my front pocket and the case is pretty fat. And I am noticing the case is showing signs of wear pretty quickly on the edges from my pants pocket.

Very solid case. Sometimes feels a little too bulky, but I do like the protection it provides.

I generally am very careful with my tech devices. Especially now that the going rate is over a grand and somehow everyone thinks that it’s okay. It’s not btw. This case and clip combo that I purchased was awesome. I broke the clip 1 year and 5 months after the purchase date by forgetting it to remove it and snagging it after. Still, it protected my x and continues to do so as I have that original case ((rubber sleeve and 2piece assembly)). Without the clip for several months, it allowed the sleeve to expand/loose some tension form with more tug/pull out off front/back pockets. The plastic protection broke one one of the sides but didn’t shatter. Clean snap/break alllowed it to still be used while I looked for a replacement. Loving what my first use of otter box delivered. Having commuted further than ever in my professional career, this phone saw more action than all my others combined. Had bought a replacement clip and am now going to replace the sleeve/case with warranty I believe. I’m sticking with this model while I keep this phone going until Apple kills it completely with their constant iOS rollouts that are untested and provide no resolution to continuing bugs. Btw, you’re really doing something wrong when your software “updates” are killing or affecting hardware. Wifried wasn’t that long ago? See iOS versions 8, 10 and up for examples, but iOS 13 is the champion that killed the thought of me ever getting another iPhone. I digress. I loved the lifeproof nuud on my 6s+. But that was just aesthetics. It didn’t last long. Bought the defender series for my iPad as well. Con: lightning adapters that are 3rd party will not always fit. Any that oversize like combo lightning/usb micro/c tend to increase the connection point (wires to plate or solder connect to lightning adapter). So keep that in mind if you use a lot of aftermarket data cables, I’d imagine that would also be occurring on the android side; don’t know if they increased the opening for newer models or it’s still a needed design update.

Good case for the price. I have the security of an OtterBox without having to dwell deep into my pocketbook. I especially like that this case doesn't have the clear plastic protector built into the front of the frame like the version on my previous phone.
