I work in an environment that is not so friendly to devices so I need the protection. I ran over my old phone with this style case with a forklift. To my surprise the phone was undamaged. I also has this style case on my son's iPad.

Removal Of The Built In Screen Protector, Really?

This case is the first from Otterbox I bought that did not have a screen protector built into the case. It was however reflected in the price but really. Come on Otterbox how money hungry do you have to be..

Pretty ok case

They definitely do their job but every defender series case I’ve had breaks within 3 months. I’ve dropped my phone many times since it broke and it has really done a great job of protecting it. I guess i can’t really knock them for my clumsiness. Woulda given 5 stars if the plastic didn’t break so quickly.

Since we paid a lot for our phones, I see it as a smart decision to want to protect them.It's got a plastic cover, and a silicone/rubber wrap around. Also supports wireless charging which is a big plus.

I'm very thankful BB has them in stock and I can always expect a decent selection. I also benefit from the using my Best Buy card when purchasing them.
