It is for protecting my phone, and it is so worth it, because the material is reasonably hard and it fits easily all around the phone, and It doesn't come off easily. I believe I can trust that it will keep my phone safe.

This case is very nice. It protects the phone well. The phone snaps into the clip holder easily. There's an audible click when it's all the way in. One of the only cases you can wear on your belt an highly protective also.

I've had many otterbox, and as usual....works great. Fits the phone well...have actually dropped it a few times and never once damaged the phone. Very happy with otterbox, will purchase with every phone I get.

OtterBox is one of the most reputable cell phone case protectors and that is why I purchased it. The case fits closely around my cell phone and helps to keep it safe from breakage. A must for any cell phone.

Any and every smartphone I have ever had, has been protected with a genuine Otterbox case. These cases hold up and have never disappointed. I've used imitation cheaper cases that have protected my phone, but broke on impact. My only negative is that this case doesn't have a screen protector.

The case works great for protecting the phone. The only issue that has come up, is you have to get the phone just right on the wireless charger. I'm assuming its because the thickness of the case.

It's a little bulky but you can't beet the protection this case provides your phone. Strong outer shell with rubber inner lining. 360 degree protection. Belt clip locks in the open position for viewing videos.

Anyone who has had an OtterBox knows they provide great protection but are bulky. I use this when I go on trips and like the extra protection but swap it out for a thinner case during normal use.

This is the first OtterBox defender case that I have owned requiring a separate screen protector due to the curved display. As usual, the case fits like a glove. Highly recommended!

This case is the best, it's very heavy duty with two layers on, the grip is very good too none slip and it comes with a hard shell belt clip that snaps on to the cellphone case with no problems.

As durable as any other otter-box. Fits beautifully and allows for a glass screen protector to fit without removing the case. Not as bulky as other otter-boxes that I have had, on my Note 2 or V20

This case fits so much better than. the Otterbox case I had for my iPhone. I purchased a Samsung note 9 and can type to the edge of the phone. Something I couldn't do before. Quality built case.

Great case for my galaxy note9 bulky but strong. I wish it has screen protector built in. Something to mention that the case works with samsung wireless charger. This case worths the money.

Thick, bulky and grippy. All of the features you expect from a defender series. It's a curved screen, be quiet and stop whining that it doesn't have a cheesy plastic screen protector.

The Otterbox Defender is a premier cell phone case that provides outstanding protection and a great fit for my Note 9. Had one for my S4, wouldn't have anything less for the new phone.

My phone is usually in my pocket so it gets banged a bit and sometimes dropped. This is a terrific case that takes care of both problems. It fits snuggly and provides compact protection.

Purchased for my Note 9. Have used these cases in the past and have been very satisfied. Gives good protection to body of phone. Only drawback is that there is no screen coverage. You have to purchase a separate screen cover.

They aren't as bulky as they were with the Note5 case, but it's also missing the built in screen protector. It has nice big bezel that doesn't make you worry when you put your phone face down on a table. Screen doesn't make contact facedown, one flat surface.

This new case offers the same great protection I have come to expect from the Defender series. Only difference is no screen protector, but you have different options to add one.
