Our apologies for the confusion prior to purchase, however, you are correct that the Defender Series for iPhone 12 Pro Max does not allow for use with Apple's new MagSafe technology.
Although this case has been confirmed compatible with standard Qi wireless technology, we actually have three distinct case models that were specifically engineered for use with MagSafe—the Aneu Series Case with MagSafe, The Figura Series Case with MagSafe, and the Symmetry Series+ with MagSafe—each of which can be found over on the official OtterBox website.
