I've been using Otterbox cases (usually defenders) since the iphone 6s plus. My last Defender was on my 11 Pro Max and now my 14 Pro Max. The great thing about the Defender series is they keep the same basic design because, well, it just works. I will be the first to admit I've dropped my iphones more times than I can recall and I have yet to have them crack or shatter with an Otterbox Defender. As for refinements? While I loved the 11 Pro Max Defender, I did find it a bit bulky and thick with the top lip raised just a bit too much. I think I wasn't alone and others must have complained because the 14 Pro Max version is thinner, lighter and easier to hold while still offering that full body protection and just enough perimeter (lip) raise so you can place your phone comfortable face down on hard surfaces and not have the screen make contact. Pictured side by side (11 Pro Max on left / 14 Pro Max on right) it is amazing how much more streamlined the 14 version is to the hold and touch As with each generation a belt clip snap on holster is included and just like every generation I rarely use it as I prefer to just put my phone in my cargo jeans or shorts pocket face in. A tad pricey but I'd gladly pay a touch more to protect my phone. Another winner from Otterbox.

We received exceptional service at our most recent visit to Best Buy in Evansville, Indiana. We went there to upgrade one of our phones and were greeted and taken care of by a few representatives in that department. They went above and beyond to check our plan to make sure that we were getting the best value or our phone, plan and getting all of the options we wanted and made sure that that options we did not want we’re not on our plan. They were not only professional, knowledgeable, but showed true commitment to providing the best service possible. Once we purchased our phone, we needing a case for it. The representative took us over to show us what was available. He saw that the screen protector that we wanted was not stocked on the shelf so he kindly went to get some out of the supply and restocked that shelf and gave us what we needed. The cases available were not what we had in mind, so he went a step further and explained that a very quality case was on sale and that he would be glad to order it for us and have it shipped to our home. He placed the order and we received the case a few days later, We love the new IPhone 16. Pro Max and the case is perfect! Do to the service we received that day, we will continue to purchase, not only our cell phones and phone accessories from there, but plan to purchase future appliances, TV’s, etc from this store. Security & protection new phone & a new way of thinking. Spending over a $1k for a phone so extras protection to insure it from any instances occurring is essential. Pay a little now or a lot later on repairs. Secure item with the Defender by otterbox. Its money well spent. TIP: Easy to assemble open the plastic lightly prying at arrows around place phone inside only one way squeeze together at the arrows until secure. Wrap rubber around the entire case and your done. Secure phone into clip either way but it's more secure to have screen side down if you're not viewing/USING. Clamp can also be used as a stand for hands-free usage while watching your favorite game, movies and so forth. Enjoy!

Great case! Bought because I have major cracks on the back and was going to the beach. It protected my phone really great and no issues!

Awesome product! I always get an outterbox when I upgrade to another phone. These cases never fail me. The two years that I normally keep a phone it protects it and has looking like new. I always get top dollar for trade in Value. Don’t worry about buying “cute” cases and get one that’s going to protect your investment!

Wanted to purchase a durable case for an iPhone 14 Pro Max and thought of OtterBox. Preferred this item specifically as there are a few layers in this case to keep phone protected (which is nice in case phone falls) + case comes with a clip that can be attached to clothing. There are also coverings for the plug port hole and the sound on/silent switch button to prevent dust from getting in.

I am a big fan of OUTTERBOX, they are very dependable and durable.

Otterbox is my go to brand for phone cases. The Defender has been my choice for years and has never disappointed. Love the feel of the case in my hand. Easy to grip. Holster clip is also durable.

Nice case. Tight fit. Only downside is that it doesn’t come with a screen protector.

Sturdy and lightweight , only con is that is a crime to take off . But other than that it’s pretty durable
