We get how that could be a bit discouraging, but the case itself shouldn't cause any harm to your phone. We do recommend the occasional case cleaning with mild soap and water to help keep dirt and debris out. We'd love to hear more from you though in order to better understand what went on here. Best protective case

I’ve used OtterBox Defender cases on my last 3 iPhones, I’ve never had a cracked screen or broken phone, even when I’ve dropped it (full disclosure, I always use OtterBox Alpha Glass screen protector, as well). The only thing that happens is the little tab on the bottom might rip off from being opened and closed so much. If that happens, OtterBox will send you a brand new one for free, you just have to pay $6-7 shipping.

Posted .What's going on with your current Defender Series Pro case that it doesn't seem to have been able to withstand the pressures of protection? Hopefully any damage the case sustained was at least the result of it working to keep your iPhone safe from harm, but however it's gone down, we've got a great warranty in place to help get you set up with a brand-new replacement!
