This item works great to protect my phone from damage. I have dropped about four times from a waist height and had no problems develop. The aux jack requires a smaller profile cord to use.

I had outfitted my mother's iPhone 5C and my iPhone 5 with Otterbox Defender series cases in the past and knew that when getting both my mom and myself a new iPhone SE that it's worth the investment to protect them from drops and dust collection. The only improvement that Otterbox Defender could benefit from (imho & particularly for those devices that are not water proof or water resistant) is waterproofing. I believe that there is another device protection / case company that makes a water proof case but I figured that with AppleCare+ and backup phones at the ready, I'd avoid paying the extra cost for the cases and stick with OtterBox.

Works great for drops. However, Screen gets greasy easily.

I bought this for my kids phone. Its already been dropped and was protected by the case and the built in screen cover. No need to buy any more accessories, this case has it all

great protection for phone screen, clear plastic cover does not glare, and cleans easily. have replaced 3 phones due to dropping and screen cracks. Well worth the money, great product.

The otter box is the Best Phone Case out there but My only issue is that the The pink light color gets dirty fast!

In general the defender is a great case. They have made several improvements to it over the years. This protects the screen from dust much better than older versions. My only complaint is that the rubber portion of the case becomes stretched out after some time and doesn't fit as snuggly as when it is first used.

Although I originally wanted a different case, I am very happy with this one. I have dropped my phone twice since I got the new case and it has saved my phone from cracking.

The Otter Box is great for my daughter's first phone. I've dropped my phone twice and broken the screen so I also have an Otter Box now. They are very durable for drops!

The Otter box provides outstanding protection for my children's I phones . They have dropped them many times ant this cover has prevented damage to the phone perfectly

Keeps the dust from coming in. Not to bulky and great shock proof from dropping it so many times. Very good investment when you wanna keep your phone in tip top shape.

This case has kept the phone safe for years working in a Hunter/Jumper barn and at horse shows. This is a replacement case after a few years.

My daughter drops her phone all the time, and it has never sustained any damage. Includes integral screen cover, and I would highly recommend.

The Otter Box is great for protecting iPhone from damage and protects screen face. My last phone w/out using an Otter Box became a mess very quickly.

Purchase was for my 12 year olds new iPhone. I would not trust the financial investment to another brand phone case. You can always count on Otterbox.
