I love this case more than my old one. It's not as bulky but I'm confident my phone is always protected! The color is awesome too.

Secures on and off with ease. I have dropped my phone more than once and the otter box did it's job. Cleans up nice and easy too

It does what it's supposed to do. Protects the phone

I just purchased the latest Samsung Galaxy S phone and needed a case for overall protection. I had already used OtterBox before so I did have some experience with the product. This box is slightly smaller and less bulky than the previous version but provides great protection for the whole product including the screen, it also allows for ease of connection to charging port and earphone connection. I am accident prone and tend to drop my phone frequently. So far both case and phone are without a scratch.

And of said Otterboxes, this one was the cheapest. Keep in mind the color is less of a green and more of a fluorescent yellowish-green. Doesn't bother me at all, but I was taken aback when I saw it in-person.

great case and cover. but it does not fit the s5 active.

I am a home inspector and this case so far has saved my phone from falls and drops many times, it stays in my hip and when I'm working on reports it sets on my desk like a picture where I can see it.

OtterBox has produced a real winner with the Defender Series Shell Case for Samsung Galaxy S 5. If you have a tendency to drop your phone or leave it in procrarious places; you need this shell case. Originally I purchased a phone case from amazon for my husbands new Samsung S5, but when we received it, it seemed extremely cheap, we returned it and went to Best Buy knowing we were getting an Otter Box. Although it is a little pricey, it's totally worth it! He has dropped his phone a couple times and no damage was done. It came with a clip and recently found out it has a kickstand to watch videos (so you don't have to hold it), Bonus!! I would definitely recommend this case!

offers great sound protection and was honored price match..however, the fit is far from pecfect. It coversion the samsung logo on the s5 aND the home bottom fit is far from accurate. It makes it look like an aftermarket otterbox box case. The fit needs improvement. Otherwise the case is fairly slim for its size...
