I have always used lifeproof but chose this case because it was supposed to be more durable and less expensive. I don't like the opening for the battery charger on this case. It is unnecessarily large and opens along the bottom side of the case. I expect it will break soon. The front is open so I had to buy a glass cover for the screen.
