This case has been perfect for me so far. It has a nice rubberized back for gripping and it doesn't add a lot of bulk. It may be a problem for those who wear tight pants, but for looser pants it feels comfortable in the pocket. My only complaint with the case is the built in plastic screen protector. After snapping the case together, the screen protector didn't make complete contact with the screen, creating distracting air bubbles across the screen. If the air bubbles weren't an issue, the feel of it was. My fingers didn't glide very smoothly across the surface no matter how clean it was. I ended up removing the screen protector from the case and applied a glass screen protector to the phone. The combination of the two make for a well protected and functional device. That ordeal didn't bother me too much because I was already planning on putting a glass screen protector on anyways. Other than the inconvenience of that process, the case itself seems to be doing its job. I have dropped it a few times from several feet in the air and both the phone and the case show no signs of damage. I definitely recommend this case for anybody who uses their phone in moderately extreme environments. I work in a cabinet shop and I never have to worry about where I set my phone, it is a great case.

I give the otterbox a 9 out of 10 for protection of my cell phone. It is easy to use and holds my phone without slipping or coming loose.

This case protects my phone well. It is a bit bulky and heavy, but it does its job well.

My wife purchased this protective case for her Galaxy S5 phone. She liked the design of the case and I was pleased to find that it included a built in protective screen protector. I went with their commuter series case because I wanted a smaller case. However the commuter series includes a self applied screen protector.

When you are investing so much in a phone, it makes sense to protect it from every day risks as best you can. This is the best one we have seen, and it does its job well. It is somewhat fiddly to get on and off, but you don't need to do that that often.

I used an Otterbox with my S3. When I upgraded to an S5, nothing else would do to protect my phone. It is simply the best case for the money that I have found. I recommend this to anyone not needing mil spec style protection for their smart phone.

Bought one first thing after buying my S5. So easy for a 3 dimensional challenged girl to apply! Love the lilac color, but wished a few more "fun" color options offered. Wouldn't feel safe with my new phone without this OtterBox..I am a believer!

I need a rugged cover as my phone will be in a shop/ work condtions. A bit bulky for some tastes, however, it offers better screen protection if dropped or laid face doen. The built in screen protector works great, small scratches rub/ heal.

Otterbox is still making some of the best cases out there. Fits my s5 perfectly. Good to know when I'm handling it that it will sustain practically any fall. Feels good in the hands and isn't too bulky to put in your pocket. Love it!

This is a great case/carrier. It is easy to install and remove and extremely durable. It is a little pricey but you do get a protective case with a screen protector and a clip on phone holster so a lot of product is in the package. It is not a fashion accessory, it is functional and very good at what it is designed for. Would definitely recommend this product, especially if you work in a harsh environment.

I'm outdoors a lot as a nature photographer, so I need a rugged case. I've used Otterbox cases for years. This one is as good as the others I've had. Easy to put the phone into it and plenty of protection.

This case fits my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone perfectly. I feel my phone is very well protected and complements my active lifestyle! No slip grip case is great!

Very happy w/ performance of case. Offers good protection. Shape and texture add to comfort in hand. Not bulky so fits in most of my jean pockets.

Tihs is one tuff phone case this is not my first Otter box had one on my galaxy 3 for 3 years after I took it off my phone was brand new. Hope it takes good care of my galaxy note 5

Great case. Protects well and is easy to clean. Hustand had same one for his phone which takes a lot of abuse and has never had a problem with damage to his phone.

My employer provided a brand new S5, but not a cover/case. So, I wanted to get something to help protect the phone from me (drops, drinks, etc.), but not spend too much of my own money since the S5 isn't technically mine. Best Buy has an entire rows (rowS, plural) of covers, backs, screen protectors, and cases for phones. I spent about 30 minutes whittling my options down. In the end, I could have purchased covers/backs in various combinations and saved $10, or just get the OtterBox that does it all seamlessly and professionally. Since seeing my OtterBox, two coworkers have done the same thing.

Easy to install on phone, very durable, and has a rubberized grip protection around the outside of the phone. Provides awesome overall protection for the entire phone.

This is the best case I've had on a phone, it fits my Samsung S5 like a glove. Excellent protection, in and out. The phone is protected all around, nice rubber feeling when you have your phone in hand. Included on the case, it's a screen protector which comes in handy. Also comes with a clip that you can put on your belt for a more secure feature when not in use. All around, an excellent made product.

I love this case. Does its job. No issues with it. Plus bright colored. I have issues with finding a case that will protect my phone but this one does its job

Comes with an easy to use belt holster, took seconds to encase phone and seems to be protective while still allowing easy access to all of the phone's features.
