It is a good case. For the most part it is well constructed. My only complaint is that the magnets that hold the flap closed are very weak. The flap hardly ever stays closed and this can be annoying.

We had purchased the Otterbox case when we purchased my wife's iPad. We planned on purchasing a better one online, but wanted immediate protection just in case. After using it for a week, we determined that it was still one of the best iPad cases out there. It didn't make it too cumbersome to hold, but offered a good amount of protection. Although it's worth noting that this isn't waterproof. Also, it doesn't have a raised edge to protect the screen when in the open position.

Really well made, great materials, and great protection. It can be a bit awkward when folded over to watch movies

My grandson received a mini iPad. I thought he needed a sturdy case to keep it in. This was sturdy but caught on something sharp and it got a snag. The case remains good but just has a torn thread place.

It's a stylish case with decent protection for the iPad. But there are some significant flaws. 1 - the case is fairly heavy. iPad mini 4 and the case feel heavier than an iPad Air 2 with a less bulky case. Maybe that's to be expected for the protection provided, but why can Lifeproof cases provide as much protection without being so heavy? 2 - the pivot that allows the screen to rotate is really stiff. It takes 2 hands and a lot more force than expected to twist the screen around. 3 - there are only 1 set of magnets on the bottom side of the case for latching the top cover. If you rotate the screen around 180 degrees, you will no longer be able to latch the case without rotating the whole screen back, which entirely defeats the purpose of being able to rotate the screen. What not just limit the case to 90 degrees of rotation in one direction if you're going to cheap out and not put sets of magnets in the case bottom. In the end, it's a good idea marked by a flawed execution. Zerochroma still offers a better solution for being able to use your iGadget in any orientation.

Bought this case for the wife. She really enjoys the OtterBox protection and the stylish design. Happy wife, happy life. Wife is happy!

I really like the protection this case offers without the bulkiness of the other Otterbox cases, overall good case for the cost.

Nice look for a case, easy to open and will turn into a stand for your iPad. Not an otter box though

This was a gift, to give as much protection possible without buying the clunky otter case that's waterproof. She loves it, and it passed the parents smell test!

This is a very nice looking case works well and very sleek when closed it looses points for the fact that when opened there is no magnet on the back side to keep it closed when folded back. I do like the option to prop for watching movies or FaceTime but its temperamental and falls down easily.

Great durability and style. I bought this as a gift for my in-laws. They had initially purchased a case that was supposed to fit their iPad, but it covered a portion of the camera. When i presented them with this, they loved it! It fit their style and need perfectly. They told me originally (with the old case) they did not have a desire to take pictures. This case corrected that for them, and not they take many.

Case looks good, and is sturdy enough to protect my ipad from everyday use. Compared to the previous case I had, this case does lack a good enough ability to stand on the notches provided, when the device is opened. I believe higher notches would prevent the device from slipping easily.

This is a big help protecting the iPad mini. Wife loves the color.
