Wife wanted a clear case to "show off" the design of the new iPhone X. The OtterBox case was "clearer" than those of several other competing cases we looked at (some were even yellowish). The "scratchproof" plastic came with minor scratches in it. We were shocked. (ok, not so much). Personally, I think that it doesn't matter what color case you use, they all detract from the beauty of the design. The wife seems to like her phone and her case, but I'm glad I got a regular old black case for mine. If you want a clear case, this seems like the best option.

The case is clear like some out there but this one also has great otterbox protection like you won’t get with other cases. It feels very comfortable in your hand as well.

This case is outstanding to protect your phone from drops. However, I wish it protected from dust and dirty particals. However at a very nice price point it is a great case for protection if you do not want to go for pricier competitor cases.

Great phone case to protect the phone incase of drops not to bulky or anything and easy to install

This is honestly the best way to go with a full glass phone. I haven't dropped it to find out what would happen, but I'm confident that they'll be no damage.

Can't go wrong with Otterbox, used them for the past 3 years on my 5s. Never had a problem. Great sleek design, and super durable. Had to get one for my X.

Does exactly what I need to cover and gets the screen off a flat surface. Got one cause my GF had one and protected her phone flawlessly for three years.

This is a great case. I like this one better than the commuter because it’s one piece and it doesn’t have rubber. I would of liked it to come with a screen protector like the commuter that would have been more convenient.

I purchase the glittery, clear to turquoise case. It’s protected my phone numerous times from drops on the corners & back and left my phone I damaged. It has a rubber edging on approximately half the side/top edge that helps absorbs the drop impacts. This is significantly thinner than the Defender cases I used to buy. Like most plastic cases, it scratches and the rubber is slightly discoloring, which is why I gave the case a 4 instead of a 5. Like most cases now, it doesn’t have a screen protector.

This is one of the better looking Otter Box cases that I’ve seen. Most are bulky and ugly and have Otter Box written in huge letters. It does scratch a little easier than I would have liked, and I’m pretty gentle with it.

This has to be by far the best case for my iPhone X the case is solid all the way around and raises in front so screen don’t touch surface a must buy.

I love the ombré glitter on the case. It’s reassuring knowing that it’s keeping my phone “safe” while looking beautiful! Otterbox is a great brand!

This is my 4th or 5th purchase of the otter box symmetry case. I absolutely love them. I have not had any phone damage with any of my phones or screens when using this case. It’s slim design keeps me from having the weight and bulky design of the other cases. I can easily slide it into my back pocket or my purse. I would definitely recommend this purchase.

I knew this would be a great product since it’s made by Otterbox, but I didn’t expect it to exceed my expectations. It’s slim and gorgeous, too!

I hate putting cases on my phone because it makes them bulky and less attractive, but this case is about as minimal as it gets and looks great.

This is one of the best iPhone cases. This is one of the best iPhone X cases out there. This will help when it falls. Recommend buying a protective film case for a screen though just in case also it will help.

Exactly what you’d expect from Otterbox. Clear plastic. Typical symmetry case feel and quality.

Case fits snug but ads some bulk as with any good protective case. If you want it to last a few drops this is the case to get. If you're careful with your phone, I would recommend the Apple Leather case which would leave the phone slim and prone to possible damage if dropped. I have always loved the Ottterbox line and this is no exception.
