I'm a union carpenter and having a heavy duty phone case is a must. The dust flaps for the charge port is also a nice feature. The case still maintains a slim profile even with the rubber and plastic dual layer.

The symmetry is nice and thin, unlike the defender. I have never had an issue following a drop, although I don't drop my phone too often.

Each of them have had different cases that have not held up well in the past but this one seems to address the issues that had caused the deterioration.

Here is why, for some reason the side edges of this case are 2 mm lover than top edges. Meaning, that a direct impact to one of the side edges will not protect the edges well.

I upgraded to a more sturdy one.
