I made sure it was the correct size but I kept feeling like I was going to damage my phone. Then I thought I might eventually want to change the case and didn’t want to deal with how annoying that would be so I purchased a different one.

Don’t get the clear case

However, the clear part around the phone screen started turning a yellow color, while the back of the case remains clear. It looks awful. I’ve had this case since November and it started changing in January.

Otterbox vs iPhone OEM clear case

But, if you have an iPhone12 with wireless recharging, this product is known to not work well for wireless recharging. This resulted in my Amazon purchase of an OEM case specifically made for the iPhone 12 Pro Max that I own. Additionally, the OEM iPhone case was cheaper on Amazon than this one from Best Buy. Also, the Otterbox case has a diameter enveloping the phones sides that obscures the beautiful aluminum frame of the phone. The iPhone OEM case is 100% clear, better than the Otterbox and does not obscure the natural beauty of the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Therefore, as you can already tell from this review, the Otterbox case was immediately returned for a refund.
