I needed a case for my new iPhone quick, and didn’t want to pay the Apple Stores high prices. After researching BestBuys selections on the app, I took a drive over to BestBuy for my case. I’m happy with the case. It protects the phone from drops up to 13 feet, it’s durable, and a bit flexible like the traditional gel skin cases. The “Mag” feature is awesome. I definitely recommend buying this case if you want a somewhat inexpensive case with high-quality features.

Look at my photos for the before and after 4-5 months of use. I’m torn on how I feel about this product cuz I like otter box over all. Just let me start by saying that otterbox replaces these quickly if there are issues for $10 shipping on warranty. But this otterbox was a pretty big let down after using Tech21 cases for the last few years or more. This case turned yellow and gross on the edges with in 4 months or so of owning it and I don’t work it dirty or harsh environments. Also both of the replacements they sent the power button just doesn’t really click in for some reason. I have swapped over to one of the new Zagg cases and still have the clear otter box cases incase I need or want to swap out later. Just know for the price this will most certainly yellow on the edges looking gross but otter box will replace it so idk. Do with this as you will. Also it is still very good at keeping your phones safe like I dropped my phone down on concrete from pretty high getting in the car and didn’t get a scratch so at least it’s resilient in that way. Plus if you don’t get the clear it might be fine and not yellow like that. I do have a black otter box on my mothers iPad that lasted for a long time and used to use them always when phones were a little less tough. I would like to mention that I kept my last tech21 case for over 2 years. And still have it for my old phone.

This otter box phone case is amazing! I dropped my phone within the first week ver hard “by accident of course” and no damage was cause to my device. I love the way it looks! I finally can see the color of the phone I purchased. lol I usually choose a color for my iPhone but buy a case the always covers the entirety of the device. Not this time though! Best phone case I’ve have yet; hands down. I really appreciate best buy having this phone case to purchase at their store and I really appreciate the associate that assisted me as well.

This is a great phone cover. It is perfect coverage for my iPhone. I would recommend this cover to others. The charging circle on back is convenient and a great feature. Overall, excellent buy.

Here’s your sign: just get a different case. OtterBox skimped out majorly on the build quality. The magnets in the MagSafe part all became misaligned because of the cheap adhesive and extremely thin covering they used. The buttons are separate pieces of plastic that wiggle loosely and can (infrequently) be audible in video recordings. One of the bottom corners also slips over the edge of the phone pretty frequently making it not feel secure.

I hadn’t purchased an OtterBox clear case in a while, so I was looking forward to some of the updates and possible improvements. However, when I got the case home and I put my phone in it, I discovered that my phone actually scratched the inside of the case I’m really disappointed in this product. I was actually looking forward to using it, but I will be returning it instead.

The case protects the phone very good but it’s yellowed in 22 days, my sister has the apple clear case and it hasn’t even yellowed in 6 months

I purchased my phone in late May, and purchased this case. So brand, new phone, brand new case. Within approximately three days, the adhesive that holds the magnetic components to the case began to come off so every time I’ve taken the case off one or both of them comes off. So I exchanged for another case within like 30 days. The next case has done the exact same thing and been worse. This is a couple months on and I just can’t justify $49 for this crap. This case would be reasonable at $25 but even then, the magnets are always coming off onto the phone. This case also cooks your iPhone due to thermal retention.

Edges yellow over time despite being a blue color originally. Magsafe piece falls off and will stick to phone.

Got this case because I usually don't have issues with the Otterbox series of phone cases. This said it wouldn't yellow, but it started yellowing after just a few months. Now the up volume button is missing. I feel like I just wasted my money on this. Wouldn't buy again.

The case after heavy usage has become yellowish and the magsafe sticker has fallen out of the case. On requesting warrenty claim on phone they said they would charge shipping fee about $12 with free case claiming $50 benefit. I asked politely fir waiving this shipping charge. They said they couldnt help! I declined to pay the shipping fee and can easily order a good case with magsafe on amazon with expidited delivery. In total the case I bought is the clear one and that is the thinnest in their lineup. I was not able to get it to charge so far using magsafe and every time I pull to charge without the case the sticker falls off . Horrible experience! Will never buy otterbox again in my life. I wont even take it for free!

This phone case is very attractive. It fits perfectly. Charging through the case works well. I have dropped my phone on hard surfaces twice and my phone has been protected - no damage at all.

I like this case a lot. It's very simple and low profile while still providing great protection for my phone. Plus you can't really beat the price. Cases with magsafe are usually much more expensive than this one. Plus I've had it for 2 months at the time of writing this and I haven't noticed any major discoloration, which is impressive because I work in construction so it's staying pretty clear in a very dirty environment.
