It's tan, that makes it easy to see amongst a world of black phone cases. The case is not transparent, luckily the front is open or you wouldn't be able to see the screen. Has a super handy cut out for your camera lenses, makes taking pics a snap.

However, it does discolor rather quickly when it comes in contact with everyday stuff. For example, the corners quickly turned blueish when I would place the phone in my jeans. I guess that's to be expected, but it did seem rather odd given that this has never occurred with other cases of a lighter color.
