The case is sturdy and protective, but awkward to use the kickstand with, you have to pop off the corners, and it always makes me nervous to break it.

Cover is excellent and tough. However, having to push out the corners of the case to extend the computer kickstand can be a nuisance at times.

This a must for your surface pro... and it's otter box!! I like that it protectprotexts everything and not just the tablet, so it feels like it has 360 protection.

OtterBox - The Symmetry Series Screen Cover for Microsoft Surface Pro and Surface Pro 4 is very hardy. While it is a tight fit to put on and somewhat bulky, it provides really excellent protection making the difficulty well worth it. I like the feature of the flexible cover for protection of the Surface Pro 4 stand feature. I don't worry so much when my grands get a hold of my Surface Pro!

This is an extremely tough cover and i am good with that. I do think it is a little bulky but again its tough. The only thing I do not like about it is A) You must use a slim USB connection B) The kick stand can be difficult to pull out. I would and have recommended this to others

If you buy a surface, it isn't complete without this case. Dropped many time thankfully I have my otterbox.

Such a good protective case. Im not worried about the durability. Its perfect for the new surface.

The otter box is thin but does a fairly good job of protecting the surface pro. It’s kinda hard to pull out the kick stand part because it sticks firmly. Buy the screen protector because this doesn’t come with one.

I have used Otterbox products in the past because in my opinion they simply protect. This Otterbox for the Surface Pro 4 is a perfect fit with many convenient features. The minute I installed it, I felt as though my son's computer was safe. I believe the product is just well thought out.

I accidentally broke my first Surface Pro when it slipped off my lap after surgery and shattered on concrete. This case was a must-have after that experience. Super sturdy and protective. It does add some weight to the device.

I like the case. It covers the whole Surface without being excessively bulky, and it has a separate piece for the keyboard attachment so that you can still pull it off and use it as a tablet. The buttons on top have to be pressed a little harder than normal, but other than being noticeable, it does not interfere with operation. The back is hinged, but it has to be separated from the body of the Surface to bend out with the stand. That is the only problem I have with the design, and I would prefer that it had some way to use the stand without detaching half of the case. It is comfortable to hold, not slick so do not worry about dropping it. Seems like it would do a good job absorbing impacts if it ever happened.

well built and gives good protection as well as good looks, the main negative thing is the loss of the kickstand use, to open it you make break it, too hard on the surface corner and may break the screen trying to open the kickstand, had to return it.

The part that flips out with the stand always falls off that's the only part I would change. Case works great and has protected my laptop through a couple Falls.

Protects the back of the surface pro. If you do not have the keyboard, go with another case. the other half of this case protects the keyboard. Also there is no place to put your pen.

All of the reviews are about spot on. My keyboard cover stays on just fine and protects the product to my satisfaction. I do think the stand "clip" is a bit tight for my liking. Don't get this thinking you can travel with the pen attached to the side...but i can't possibly think of any case that will do that. The pen WILL stick to the side if not being jostled in a bag, etc. (i.e. sitting on a table, desk). In the end, I needed protection for travel and didn't want a ton of weight. If you are unhappy with how tight the stand clips to the body, just shave a little of the rubber off the inside of the clip.

This is a GREAT protection device for my $1.3K computer.

This was a decent case but it did not look and feel that great to me. I ended up going with the Urban Armor case because it looked a lot more rugged and offered more overall protection.

This case protects your Surface Pro 4 great but there is no secure place to put the pen. You can still attach it via the magnet but the case makes the magnet connection weak and the pen will fall off.

Fits and works well. Pen doesn't attach to well, and a little hard to open kick stand, that's why I didn't give it five stars.
