This case is very good. I normally do not buy cases for my phones because of how bulky they feel with them on, but this case really does maintain a slim profile. This case still allows you to press the volume and power buttons with ease. Does not interfere with speaker sound at all, and has easy access to lightning port. It is made out a hard plastic that has nice grip, but won't stick to the inside of your pocket like a silicone case, and won't get all scratched up like a leather case. The build quality is excellent and really offers that OtterBox durability that they are famous for. Since having the case I have actually had a few drops and my phone was completely protected...not even a scratch! If you want a solid iPhone mini case and also maintain that slim profile than this case is for you. Very easy to put on as well as remove for cleaning purposes.

I did have a Symmetry case for my old iPhone 7 back in the day (a clear one) and this one basically the same general design except it's matte black and it has a MagSafe ring on the inside. Like the clear iPhone 7 version of this case I used to have, this case is very sturdy and it absorbs shock well. My 12 Mini has already been on a tumble over my freakishly unforgiving stone tile floors with this case installed and aside from a small (and barely noticeable) nick on the corner of the case, there is no damage to my actual device whatsoever. Durability seems like it's a pass. :-) Now, to the whole the reason my new iPhone took a tumble to the floor in the first place: Unlike the clear Symmetry cases (they don't make a clear one with MagSafe), the black ones have a fairly utilitarian matte finish (even bumpers around the edges) instead of something grippy like rubber or silicone. While it is nearly fingerprint proof, it's a fairly smooth finish that slips away from my hand easily if I don't remember to grip the phone a certain way. And while this case is no Defender, it does add a reasonable amount of heft to the phone once it's on. I think the best way to describe this is sleek, but substantial (if a bit slippery), if that makes any sense. The raised edge around the camera cutout seems like it's a bit shallow compared to similar cases from other manufacturers, but what's nice is that it doesn't wobble when the phone is laying flat on a table. I guess my only other gripe is I wish they'd make the Symmetry Series+ in more colors. I think matte black and pink are the only options right now if you want the most durable slim case from OtterBox. Also noteworthy is that you can get a non-MagSafe version of this case for $10 less. And there's a bunch more color options (including clear) if you go the non-MagSafe route, too.

This case is great! I’ve had great success for 2 years. I’ve dropped my case several times and my phone has never broken.

Have had good luck with Otterbox products. This case is sleek and lightweight. It does not cover the glass, but does fit with a screen protector.

Protected my iphone 12 mini which has been dropped by my toddlers on our tile. These are tanks of protection.

Nice case, but it’s a bit too slick. There are grippy edges on the front and side edges, but the back is textured hard plastic. The case is slim and seems to be well built. It’s overpriced too, but most otterbox products are.

The case protect the phone quick well. If may not be for everyone as it is quite smooth and may feel a bit slippery to some hands. The price was also quite high.

I love the otterbox cases. They are comfortable, easy to use, and provide the best protection for you phone. Would never use a phone without the otterbox

As far as the case goes, it is a solid case. The iPhone by itself is too slippery, so in addition to drop protection, this case offers a good grip not to drop the phone. It is also thin enough where it doesn’t compromise the size of the iPhone 12 mini. I’ll reserve one star as I do not have the mag safe charger to review this feature.

These are tanks. Highly recommended. This item is well tested. Dropped off the top of a moving car. Phone survived.

I thought this would be a nice case, but it was too bulky for my liking. Seems sturdy and good protection if that is what you are looking for. I also didn't care for the shade of pink in person. I ended up returning it and buying the Apple clear MagSafe case.

It works well with MagSafe, but it feels a little slippery in my hands. I fixed it with an ohsnap. I haven’t dropped the phone yet to know how much protection it offers. Much slimmer than the defense series. Made the iPhone 12 mini feel its size.
