The case is practical. Its not that thick compared to normal Otterboxes. It resembles a Commuter thickness. There is a small lip on the phone which im very iffy about and i recommend getting a glass to protect your screen from drops. The case is stiff in the beginning but will loosen over time. (Not like get really loose but easier to put on and take off if you change cases often like i do.) I do not keep the case on my phone all the time. I keep the battery attached to the case and in my purse in case i need a charge on the go.

However Otterbox isn't going to be releasing a Universe case for the iPhone X. If they aren't going to keep the line going, it really isn't worth buying into it.

I haven't looked at any other case since I bought this one and The only time I take my phone out is to clean it or to use a air duster. As of right now I have the polar pro battery pack attached to my case and it's fine. Works great. I love the concept. By the way the case is a lot stronger than I expected. It took some pretty good falls and I'm 6'4 and not a scratch on my phone
