'Outlander', based on the book series, is a truly imaginative story that will grab you and not let go. Well acted, it entertains while also inspiring you to want to learn more about Scottish history. Hooks you from the first episode.

This series is a wonderful adaptation of the Outlander book series. I would recommend this DVD to someone who hasn't read the books. Well acted with so much attention to historical detail. I can't wait for Volume 2 to be released!

The Blu-ray combo with digital is the best way to buy this show. It was my first show to download to my iPad, and not only was it easy to do, t can watch it whenever I want, with or without a player. This series is really great for fans of the books. Nice extras.

Wonderful adult fictional drama. Beautiful scenery and costumes complement a wonderful cast. The Scottish scenes and story transport you back in time to experience the highland life in a way which is richer and more complete than Braveheart. Adult themes are not appropriate for children.

I have not watched this DVD since I bought it, but I watched the series on Starz and loved it. I then borrowed the book from the library and really disliked the book. However, unlike the book, this is a great series, very hot!

"OUTLANDER" IS ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS ON TELEVISION AND WAS JUST NOMINATED FOR TWO GOLDEN GLOBES INCLUDING BEST T.V. DRAMA AND BEST T.V. DRAMA ACTRESS. I HAVE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THE FIRST SEASON OF WHICH THIS IS THE SECOND PART. REALLY LIKED THE EXTRA FEATURES IN THE COLLECTOR'S EDITION.

I enjoyed this series immensely. After seeing it, I want to look into the books. The costuming is amazing. The setting is visually juicy to the eye. The story line and acting holds your attention. I though it was entertaining.

I enjoyed the book and am thoroughly enjoying the series. I highly recommend this series to anyone who's read the books and to those who think the book is too long, then this is the way to be able to enjoy most of the story.

Came across this show when looking for a good show for my mom, Was hooked immediately. Haven't read the books, so not sure how closely it follows them. This show has lots of action, fights, love stories and men in kilts, can't get any better than that!

What a way to wind up the first season of this magnificent series. If you're not emotionally invested with these characters at the conclusion of this deeply disturbing finale then you just haven't got a soul!!!

Absolutely enjoying this amazing series! Great strong female heroine in the lead, and a wonderful supporting cast! If you're into Game of Thrones with a little less gore and debauchery, this is the show for you!

Got this as a surprise for the Wife to re-watch before tonight's premier of second half of season. She LOVES this series! She has already watched the set once and is planning another marathon today before the show tonight.

I like the visa gift card because they don't limit you to one store. Keeping up with where people shop can be hard and with the visa gift card they can use this gift where ever Visa is accepted. Can't go wrong.

I read a lot of online reviews and heard praise of this series come from family members, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I don't normally watch this kind of stuff (more of a murder mystery and spy thriller sort of person); however, I enjoyed this program. It delivers a solid example of an historical romance program. The scenery is nicely captured in the photography, and it's fun to learn some historical facts. The harlequin - type aspects border on cheese, but the underlying intrigues are solidly conveyed.

Time travel romance set in 1940's and 1700's Scotland. Great costumes and set, excellent acting and well written scripts based upon the very popular books. The ladies are sure to love the leading male character.

The blu-ray format really brings out the vivid colors and beautiful landscape of the Scottish Highlands. The characters and storyline are fascinating and really draw you in. I finished the last episode and started watching it all over again. Season 2 can't come fast enough!

Love this box set. Not only does it include all of season 1 but also the 2 soundtrack cds! Also love the little flask and photos. Well done set for any outlander lover!

Waited for the DVD to come out. We have the first one and waited with great patience for the second one to be released. Saw the sale price online and went to pick it up at the store but the in store price was more. It only took a minute to get the online price. Made my day!
