Need this adapter for factory DVD players to work and is supposed to allow the use of factory backup camera which in my case didn't. Instructions are very vague

I can drive in reverse and have camera on and my DVDs play great. My whole radio and DVDs are a great buy .

Was incorrect part then what need was looking for factory tv and not aftermarket.
