    The cost of the harness was hard to justify but it is the only way to keep original wiring. Since i planned on keeping some of the original JBL speakers, it was a forgone conclusion. Either that or rewire the whole van. Turned out to be the right choice. Salesman said it succinctly by saying, "Your best option is to suck it up and pay for the harness.
