Great movie! Who does love yo watch giant robots fight?

I have really enjoyed this movie. My son enjoys watching the movie with me. We have turned it into a father and son movie. I would like to purchase the second one.

Pacific Rim in 4K is a must watch! The action is amazing and if you have a 4K tv and player, then you have to own this movie. The picture and sound is 5 star quality.

The better of the 2 Pacific Rim movies. Even better when it is on sale for $14.99. This is a great gift idea. My wife loves the movie and on 4k even better.

We collect only the best movies that display 4K and HDR as well as Dolby surround sound in our home theater very well. This is one of those titles.

Who doesn't like giant machines killing monsters!? This is is fast pace and great from the start. I highly recommend this movie to movie junkie's!

Didn’t know much going into this but what a thrill ride. Excellent movie, sound, and scale. They actually did a decent job building characters too.

We love this movie. Definitely better than it's newer counterpart. the HDR sound fills the room. Good story line and great fight scenes.

Pacific Rim is a movie about giant robots piloted by mind-melded humans struggling to save the world from Godzilla and friends by punching said monsters in the face. There are any number of things we can find wrong with that sentence, but if you can accept the premise or cheer it on, this movie might be a good fit for you. It's a visually strong movie. The design of the monsters and robots, sets, and the major action set pieces are the highlight of the film. Its premise is as straightforward as I first stated, and its archetypes are straightforward translations from adolescent adventure stories. This movie plays it straight without no irony, which I found refreshing compared to overwrought and often cynical scifi movies that came out in the same year. On the down side: This movie not only beats up on monsters, but also science, practicality, and subtlety. If any of these are your personal trigger, it might ring false to you. The human characters are with a few exceptions are defined by context that comes from the tropes they are meant to represent. While the movie devotes quite of bit of time to the human elements, it leaves a number of things hanging and what you get out frequently depends a lot on what you brought with you. Dialogue is not going to win awards, and many of the performances are not subtle at all. There's also a curious case of accent musical chairs, with the mismatch in nationalities of various actors and the characters they play, which does leak through at various points. Certain things the audience might have wanted to see, such as the exploits of other pilots or some additional action to break up the slow stretches get relegated to off-hand references. If the monsters and battles are the draw, there is a long stretch in the movie where there's not much of it. For me, this is sort of a guilty pleasure that I'm not particularly guilty about. It has spectacle, and yet I found that it wasn't done to excess for me. Its story is simple and its notes on camaraderie and self-sacrifice are hit pretty heavily, but I suppose I found the lack of cynicism that was so prevalent in other blockbuster movies to be a reason to find Pacific Rim likeable.

I really thought this movie was gonna suck but surprisingly it was great! A mixture of King Kong/Planet Of The Apes/Godzilla. Funny as well, the fight scenes were intense.

The LA Times calls this film "Spectacular" for a good reason. When hordes of alien giant monsters start attacking from the ocean humanity must fight back hard. Using high technology we develop giant robots to fight the giant monsters. The robots require two pilots and were usually too slow to fight the monsters. Now soon to be defeated, humanity must call on a veteran pilot who is retired and a rookie pilot with very little experience. Remember The Shogun Warriors(giant robots fighting giant monsters) comics from Marvel in the 70's? This reminds me a LOT of those. As a matter of fact, this film is pretty much exactly the same thing. Giant, man-made robots with human operators inside fighting giant monsters to protect Earth. Imagine Godzilla fighting giant robots that resemble Master Chief in Halo(famous video game) and you are right on the money. If you are a fan of Godzilla, Gamera, or King Kong movies, this will be a favorite of yours and I guarantee it! AWESOME CGI! Incredible visual spectacle(s)! It is rated PG-13 for violence and nothing else. One thing for all you Sons of Anarchy fans out there(I am a BIG fan of that show!).You will EASILY recognize more than one person starring in this film! The Shogun Warriors from the 1970's comics meets modern CGI/special effects. 'Nuff said. Excelsior!

I enjoyed this movie so much that once the 4K ultra became available I had to have it. I have both movie including the 2d release.

Prefer this one to the Sequel. The monsters and the fights were all scarier and more intense! And it looks absolutely stunning in 4K

It came all packaged and I opened it and watched it with no issues. No skipping or anything! Plus, you can’t beat the price!!!

If you like giant robots fighting giant monsters, this is your movie. It is so action packed with a great story that anyone who loves action movies will enjoy.

Amazing action movie threw the hole story. This movie definitely did not disappoint. Good movie to watch with your friends.

I kept hearing about how great this movie is and I found this at a decent price so I decided to buy it and don't regret it
