This movie has some the most Amazing Graphics ever, your'e eyes will widen during every Kaiju attack, & you will grin uncontrollably with every Jaeger battle, marvel at the film's sprawling cityscapes, dazzling destruction scenes & epic Jaeger & Kaiju battels, Pacific Rim will be an absolute blast.

After seeing Pacific Rim: Uprising, I had finally decided to purchase the first Pacific Rim movie, and it was just as good as I remember. It's an enjoyable watch. Giant robots vs. giant monsters. What's not to love?

A Classic SyFi of the times. Very cool Special effects, enjoy seeing the enormous sights of giant monsters' fighting giant robots controlled by humans! Can't just make this up!

Movie is good. Not awesome but the picture quality is awesome. A reference film to show off your 4k tv and sound setup. Highly recommended

This is the second time that I have bought this movie on disc, and it definitely was worth the purchase price to upgrade to 4K. I am not going to get into the plot details, but am going to focus on the outstanding picture and sound quality. I can say without reservation, in terms of picture quality, that this is one of the best 4K transfers available. The sharpness, contrast, color, and HDR are simply amazing and must be seen to be believed. This is now my go to disc to show what 4K HDR can do. The 4K disc comes with a 4K digital code. The picture and sound quality of the digital version is comparable to that of the disc. If you are looking for a 4K disc to demo your system, this is the 4K disc to get.

There are very few movies that make me say "Wow" repeatedly. Pacific Rim is one of them. The 4K version has stunning scene after scene of vivid detail and color. The Dolby Atmos soundtrack is earth shattering during the Kaiju and Jaeger fights. I had to turn my Nakamichi sound system's bass down. The story and characters are very engaging with Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, and Ron Perlman giving fantastic performances.

I bought this when it first came out, as a DVD. I bought this to take the place of the DVD version. I've watched this movie several times, and have enjoyed it every time. It is an excellent sci-fi movie, since anything is possible in a sci-fi movie. The characters are not hallow, the storyline is well done, and the action scenes are fantastic. This is one of those movies that works well when you just want to escape for a couple of hours. It's just an excellent watch.

ROBOTS ARE THE BEST!! I know that anyone reading my review of this movie is going to think that I'm crazy and they're probably right. But I have such a big love for explosion-y sci-fi movies! Guh, I can't express how cool this movie is. The music is amazing, the robots are the best, the aliens remind me of my siblings when they're grumpy, etc. I would definetly recommend this movie to those who love explosions and science fiction (and robots).

This movie was action packed and more awesome in Blu-ray 3D. The fight scenes were also fantastic and adventurous. So make your Popcorn and settle in to watch an entertaining movie. Enjoy!! After the movie I watched the Special feature and how the movie was made and the concepts the designers went through to make the fight scenes believable.

I am just starting my 4K collection and I am so glad to have found and picked this up at my local store. The image quality is the best I have seen this in and the sounds are deep and rich. This is a must-pick-up if Pacific Rim is one of your favorite movies, especially Tokusatsu fans. truly a love letter to mecha and kaiju

This refreshingly action packed story of brothers and robots! What more can you want!? An amazing entry in the 4k Universe has enough charm for the whole family thanks to standout performances, broad humor, and positive attitudes and wonderful 4k scanning. I highly recommend this movie if you are looking to add a new 4K blu ray to your collection

The review is mostly for the 3D version. Surprisingly, this movie was post converted to 3D, but you would never know it. There is so much going on, that there is no time for the usual and cheesy gimmicky sword in your face shots usually associated with 3D movies. It is very immersive and borders on VR. The 7.1 Dolby audio will rattle the room. Fantastic fun.

The jump to 4k Isn't as noticeable as i'd hopped. A lot of scenes get odly grainy at times. but the hdr presentation is great and this movie has amazing audio.
