I liked the first (original) movie a little better. The special effects were good.

The first movie was a great visual fest. This one has a terrible story and a king in most parts sucks. The comedies seems pushed on you and the original actors don’t get much screen time. I was at lest hoping the visual would be as good as the last but no. I guess some people may like it but it was just ok to me.

I think I liked this one better than the first..Great in 4k and sounds fantastic...

What can I say that you would be inclined to read over what all of the other movie critic sites you have already looked at say? Not as good as the first, but as sequeals go, this one is pretty good.

Liked this. Not a bad sequel. If you liked the first you should enjoy this one.

Good value for the money. Blue ray, regular dvd, and digital for a great price.

A great price for a movie of this age and a great price for this time of year.

Pacific Rim was bar none the best giant robot movie ever made, PR Uprising does not rise to the level of its predecessor mostly because of the absence of director Guellermo Del Toro. John Boyega and Scott Eastwood are better actors than Charlie Hunuam but the tension and realistic feel of the first film are evident

Pic leads you to believe there is a slipcover and there is not. Other than not getting what I had hoped for, everything else was ok in regards to movie, shipping, etc..

Don't know if it was as good as the first one but I liked it just as much.

I cant give away any secrets so i will just say this. No Idris Elba. It's a good movie, and if you like monsters, then go for it! And, if you can, get it in 4K. Its absolutely beautiful.

I liked this movie a lot. And so I had to get an updated version for the 4K tv. WOW everything is so sharp and seems like it is literally happening in front of you.

Part of a series and was OK - a Good action movie with good animation!

nice sequel - starts a little slow and gets better. still a far out there movie

I enjoyed the 1st Pacific Rim, but this one is better, and on 4k, fantastic.

Pacific Rim job two , was not as thought out and done as well as the first movie.Even though they've become better with the computer graphics since the 1st one.Story was a little shallow and characters were not well defined.Should have rented instead of buying.Won't watch it again I'm really very bored.

I wasn't sure about buying the first movie as I'm not one for Sci-Fi or Alien invasion movies. The first movie turned out great and this 2nd installment turned out even better.
