I caught on to joseph late in the game, probably 04. Are you in that mood yet on MM2 caught my ear from the beginning and i was a budden fan instantly. The things he preaches and the way he delivers is unmatched. Alot of the things he's went thru i can relate to. You can definately see the difference between mood musik and the studio albums. This latest album, to me, is a step down from his mood musik theme but i'm sure that it's not totally up to him. The track "i couldn't help it" is a crazy track and the initial track is a good starter for the album. I believe alot of people don't feel him because he speaks from the heart and about his personal life. A dude with a real struggle, who went thru some real life issues and prevailing to let us in his world. I doubt he will ever get the respect he deserves but he's a true emcee in hip hop today. He's got my respect by far. If you are a real music fan and you actually listen to lyrics, pick this album up and let it marinate on your brain, then you'll begin to see what all us Joe Budden fans been knowing since the beginning.

I think the CD was great for the true hip hop fans who can understand the concepts that Joe puts out there for us to hear. I think he stuck to the idea of being trapped in the padded room for most of the album, I say that because the song "The Future", got away from that. Joe is one of the few rappers who really give that fealiling that they been through the same situations that the regular fan has been through. I think Joe is is part of an elite group of artist who don't rely on featuring other artists to sell there product meaning he won't the 13 songs and on 7 of them feature some one else. When he says he always give us his fans his all thats exactly what he means, if just more fans would give rappers like him a chance instead of saying he flopped after his 1st album didn't sell over a million. Whith all that being said Mr. Joe Budden if you read this please do not have us wait that long for another album.

this album is Amazing. Anyone looking for real hip-hop, this is the artist to check for, Joe Budden is an extremely talented emcee. I got the chance to hear the full album at his listening party in NY, and its an incredible piece of work. Joe is such a down to earth person, real cool dude. Now I Lay, In My Dream, Exxxes, If I Gotta Go are all classic records. This is a MUST-buy!!!, you won't be dissappointed

I've been waiting for this album for YEARS. Joe Budden has the ability to convey deep meaningful lyrics through both soothing and upbeat production. Joe Budden has proven that he is one of the most versatile and underrated rappers alive. This is one of the first albums I've bought in years that I can listen to front to back on repeat without wanting to skip a single song. This is what real hip-hop needs right now, support real hip-hop and buy this album. For 8 bucks this is a steal.

Joe Budden is everything that is RIGHT with hip-hop. The man doesn't waste his time with worthless club songs, his passion for music is what makes his music timeless. He is one of the few artists everyone can relate to, but noone knows. Do yourself a favor and pick up this album! INTERNET SOLDIERS!!!!

Joey comes back with an album that just leaves you listening to every track time after time. His concepts and lyrics give you something to think about and relate to. This is hip hop right here and without a doubt hes gotta b top 10 right now in hip hop. Support this dude and get more than one copy he deserves more than anyone in the game to plat. Buddens doesn't get the credit he deserves and I feel like this album will give hip-hop some substance. He, in my opinion is one of the best subjective mc's of all time. He along with Nas are my favorites when it comes to topics and the way they bring it across lyrically. This album is a must get as well as the Mood Muzik series.

This album is everything I would of expect it to be. If you are a Joe Budden listener from his underground joints like them Mood Muzik's and that Halfway House which was also crazy. You wont be disappointed....the bar quality was on point....song concepts was defitnely on point like that In My Sleep and EXXXES......production was fire....only thing I was wishin for was 3-4 more solid songs but nonetheless this cd is ill and will probably be one of the best of this year...IF I WERE YOU I'D GET TWO OF THESE JOINTS!!!

If you've been following Budden from his rocky relationship with Def Jam till now then you'll love this album. Budden fans will not be disappointed and if you only know Budden from Pump it Up then you're in for a surprise and a treat.

After a long hiatus Joe Budden delivers on his sophmore offering. Prooving that he experienced more than just "Growth", Joey emphasizes lyrical content over smoke and mirrors. Easily one of the 10 best in the industry at this moment.

This Padded Room album has to be one of the best hip hop albums I've heard in a long time. If you a true fan of great lyrics over dope beats then its a must buy. Even though its more of a dark album the concept of the album is great.

One of the greatest songs on here is The Future, with the upcoming music artist Dominic. Dominic is on the hook part saying "baby this can be the future", and all that, support him, more of it at myspace.com/dombambino...THANKS

Cohesively themed album with tracks that say a lot about the artist on a level a lot of people can relate to. Hard to pick a favorite track, but this album is definitely worth buying when it drops. Proof that hip hop is alive.

Ok, I am reading all of these reviews and disagree! I will always be a Jump off Joe Buddens fan. The problem is this album is not that great. Neither was his Halfway House mixtape. I still play all 3 MM mixtapes and even play the Joe Budden album. This album is not on the same level as those. Joey has never had the best production on his albums, but the production MM3 was much better than this. I mean Joey is still lyrical, but the guy who said that Padded Room is just punchline after punchline obviously didn't listen to it. Joey is walkin a fine line to becoming commercial and I will be honest its not a wise move and not a move he should make. Joey needs to forget about blowing up he is too complex for the average hip hop fan! Thats what Lil Wayne is for to spit ignorant verses that appeal to the average undereducated hip hop fan. With the state of this game I was hoping for a lot more from the Padded Room. I been waiting for 6 years for this (The Growth). I'm a little disappointed. HIP HOP is DEAD!!!

Joe Budden is easily the best rapper in the game right now, while everyone else is making silly raps and saying anything just because it rhymes, Joe budden has something to say and he never hide anything from his fans,

Every track Joe does he raises the bar on his work and the work of others. This is one of the best albums of the last 10 years easily. If you get this album you will NOT be disappointed at all. INTERNET SOLDIERS!!!!

Lyrics are Grade A and the concept of the album is top quality. Joe Budden's songwriting is world class. This is a 5 Mic classic album and needs to be added to everyone's collection.

If you are a fan of hip-hop then you need to buy this album. Joe Budden's lyrics speak to you. Th Klasix produced great tracks. Must have! Must Buy! Recommended for everyone.
