Eastwood best role, at least after the "Dollars" trilogy, if not ever! This story is sort-of a mix of "A Fistful of Dollars" and "The Magnificent Seven", but he instead of a 7-man army, he is a one-man army! He is there to help when people need him, but as soon as they don't he is gone without a trace. Looks good on Blu-Ray too, especially for a movie from the 80's

Have not seen this move in years had it on VHS....

In this amazing movie, Clint Eastwood plays the role of "Preacher" in a gold town thats divided buy two kinds of people that every western needs ( Good and Bad ). "The Bad pays in gold, but Preacher pays in lead" And it ends in the in best gun fight ever!

Classic Clint on clean clear blu ray! Takes me back the days of my youth watching this with my Father and now, being able to enjoy the clearity of Blu ray

One of Clint’s absolute best. Of all his movies, definitely one of the most memorable. It probably is the best all around cast he has worked with.
