I bought this for my new TV and stereo receiver to protect it from power surges. It seems to be working fine plus it looks cool with blue lights.

I replaced a Monster Power Regulator with this unit. It has easy to use meters and indicators to tell you the quality of the power and it protects the equipment from power surges, filters the power and has both passthru power and switched power outlets.

Needed to upgrade from my Monster Power line conditioner that was getting long in the tooth. Bought it at an excellent price point. It has two LAN jacks in the back; be sure to read the manual if you're going to use them, as they have specific instructions on how to connect to them. Has USB, gaming, and power ports on the front right side for easy accessibility. It also has a light dimming feature that comes in very handy, as the lights in the front are very bright at their default setting and can become annoying if you're used to watching TV at night with the lights off. If you're looking for an item that protects your electronic equipment, this is definitely worth a look.

This is my second Panamax M5300 unit and they are well worth the money (especially on sale). Despite power surges and storms, I've had no issues with either unit and I can hear a difference in sound quality and slight difference in picture quality (especially on my 65" 4K TV). I'm hoping the unit I purchased last month will avoid DVR failures in my family room setup (previously lost 3 DVR's in ~5 years due to power surges/dips). I really think the staged approach for powering up audio/video equipment really makes a difference too.

I previously was getting by with standard surge protectors. The wires were a mess. Upgrading to the panamax made cable management much cleaner with things coming to a shelf in the rack. Especially with some equipment needing right angles or transformer blocks, it's hard to get everything in, but cube-style adapters help. I love the voltage read-out. I can see the voltage dip when the amps turn on from the 12V triggers. Sometimes down to 114V but always ok. I definitely do not need the rotatable lighting of the MR4300 but it's a nifty bell whistle that real rack-mounters (instead of shelvers) might like.

When I was looking for power conditioners I immediately looked to Panamax, as they have a name and reputation for making good power conditioning products. I found out they were picked up by Furman, who is also very well-known for making solid quality products. Looking at the line-up of Panamax products I turned to this one, which does pretty much everything minus voltage regulation. For the money I saved I think it was worth it and was still a good choice compared to the more expensive 5400. There are plenty of outlets on the back and the power cable that is included is not only beefy, but replaceable and has a nice retention clip in place. You can also rack-mount this thing down the road if you choose to do so. My only gripe about this unit is the overly bright lighting. I think it's super cool, but a lot of people will hate it. There is a way to turn the lighting to dim or even off I think and that will save people a lot of grief down the road. Aside from that this is a great unit and did make a difference in taking some of hiss out of my stereo. Mind you this could be placebo, but you're really buying this as insurance for your electronics.

Does it exactly what it says it will. It is very high quality and has adjustable lights so you can make them dark during low light environments. Very well laid out, very happy with purchase.
