I purchased the oven because of the name. Big mistake. Inside started rusting in the corners. Now peeling off onto the food. Only had it for a year and I have to replace it. It looks like Panasonic has lost it's value. What a shame. Will not be replacing it with the same brand.

This microwave is sleek looking. It is powerful and easy to use. I really like the buttons that let you cook with presets. It fits nicely under the cabinets with plenty of room to spare. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great microwave - spacious, very quiet, cooks beautifully. Only minor quibble - wish the key pad had back lighting so could be seen in the dark! We use multiple times each day for heating up items and cooking

A very reasonable microwave. I love the inverter technology which gives me very precise control on the power being used to cook things - that was one of the main reasons for purchase. Microwave isn't more or less noisy than any other brand, and its heating function has been great. The thing I'm not a fan of, however, is that there is a default child lock on the door. You can't open it without hitting a separate button. There's a way to disable this feature, but it resets to on any time there's a power outage / flicker (and the steps to do this are complicated, so you have to dig out the manual or look it up every time). That may seem like a minor thing, and it probably is, but I find it annoying. This aside, or if you're a fan of having the child lock on, then I'd highly recommend.

We had the exact same microwave for 10+ years, but it finally gave out. We got the newer version and I love the size and ease of using it, however it has a lock system. So you have to press 0 after each use to unlock it. Kind if annoying but we are getting used to it.

Works great. Very simple design and easy to use. Highly recommended.

We upgraded to the Panasonic about 3 months ago and it's been working great. The size has been able to handle anything we've thrown at it without feeling like it's hogging counter space. It heats food quickly and evenly. It's quiet while running and easy to clean. A solid microwave.

I am happy with this unit, I have found that i usually cook items for 30 sec. less than what frozen dinners suggest, I never cook at the full minutes the directions request. Things will over cook and get a little dry. This is a 1200 watt unit that seems to cook very even. What I found that is annoying is the buttons require extra push to activate if the unit is just sitting on the table or counter it will slide everytime you push a button. Not a deal breaker for me I have mine with the back against the wall and it doesn't move. Good price good size good power good buy!!

I find this microwavea good basic model, which is really all I was looking for. However, I find it hard to read the buttons, as the background is very dark. I suppose that when I g et more familiar with using it, I will ln ot need to read them as much as I will be using the same ones over and over. I had trouble getting thte rotating glass to rotate easily as teehe supporting ring wouldn't hold in the correct place. I finally got it to stay, but it took a bit of patience. Otherwise, I like th inverter technology, I had it on my last microwave and I wouldn't get a microwave without it. It works well, I have been happy with it. The difficulties are minor and I wouldn't want to keep anyone from buyhing it, but I had to mention thise problems I have had. Panasonic is a preferred brand for microwaves, so bear this in mind, also.

I've had this microwave over a year.It works very good , very happy with it. The\nOnly thing I've noticed is some things you have to cook longer.If it's a fish frozen dinner. But overall , the oven is big , it runs well , no problems

Decent performance. The keypad's layout is a little different from what I am used to, but overall, it's a good product.

It's louder than most microwaves but it cooks faster. Overall it's a great size and functions well. The only negative is the keypad feels cheap and the door feels flimsy.

For us, the Panasonic Brand has always had a good reputation for quality and reliability. Many of our previous Panasonic appliances (TVs, audio-video equipment, etc.) had lasted many years. So, when our trusty old small Kenmore microwave oven started having issues (after 10 years!), our first choice to replace/upgrade this was a Panasonic. From several models available, we chose this one for its reasonable price (even better, with an "open-box" one in excellent condition), simple but stylish stainless steel looks, and its large 16-inch turntable (our old one was only 12 inches). It's only been over a month, so it's too soon to tell how long it would last. Cooking/heating quality is excellent so far. Hopefully, Panasonic does not disappoint us with this unit.

Have had it for 7 months, hope it lasts at least 5 years. How many microwaves have you bought already. I'm at 6 over a period of 27 years. LG, GE, Sharp. The only reason why I bought this one is because it was a brand I have not yet had for a microwave. Big pain on this one is safety feature that locks the door after cooking. You can disable it but if your power goes out you will have to find instructions to figure that out again. It cooks well. Great nuker so far.

Overall, a very good unit. Everything I have used it for has turned out well, and the inverter technology does indeed seem to make a real difference when thawing seafood and frozen kimbap In terms of eliminating cold spots. I've had two issues with this microwave, Both of them fairly minor. 1) The control panel could really use either backlighting or more contrast in the background and labeling colors. I have found it to be rather difficult to make out the labels on the keys unless I really get close to it. 2) The child safety feature is very annoying, and there doesn't seem to be any permanent way to disable it. I don't have any kids around the house, so there's no real reason I should need to jump through hoops to prevent my non-existent kids from getting injured with the microwave. But the instructions provided for disabling this lock don't work. They will work for one or two uses and then revert to a locked state! I've done it repeatedly, and the same thing keeps happening. Admittedly, getting around the lock is not that big a deal and just requires one additional key press, but this really strikes me as a solution in search of a problem. Aside from the east, I find this unit to be far superior to my old one, and am very glad that I purchased it.

Microwave works well. I find the sensor cooking tends to make food too hot at times and I dont like having to push an extra botton to open the door

Am very pleased with the performance of my Panasonic 1200 watt countertop microwave with Inverter Technology. Also like the way the stainless steel it looks in my kitchen and its attractive design. At 1.2 cu ft it is slightly smaller than my last 1.3 cu ft Panasonic model but the smaller size has not presented any issues.

Okay, fits where I had my old one. Hate the child proof lock. No kids in the house, I'd like to disconnect that feature.

It's a decent size microwave, very sleek looking and works great. . The only function I don't like is that you have to hit the unlock button before you can open the door. I know it's probably a safety feature but I feel like I'm going to break the release button for opening the door before I make it a habit to hit the unlock button first.
