We upgraded to the Panasonic about 3 months ago and it's been working great. The size has been able to handle anything we've thrown at it without feeling like it's hogging counter space. It heats food quickly and evenly. It's quiet while running and easy to clean. A solid microwave.

I am happy with this unit, I have found that i usually cook items for 30 sec. less than what frozen dinners suggest, I never cook at the full minutes the directions request. Things will over cook and get a little dry. This is a 1200 watt unit that seems to cook very even. What I found that is annoying is the buttons require extra push to activate if the unit is just sitting on the table or counter it will slide everytime you push a button. Not a deal breaker for me I have mine with the back against the wall and it doesn't move. Good price good size good power good buy!!

Am very pleased with the performance of my Panasonic 1200 watt countertop microwave with Inverter Technology. Also like the way the stainless steel it looks in my kitchen and its attractive design. At 1.2 cu ft it is slightly smaller than my last 1.3 cu ft Panasonic model but the smaller size has not presented any issues.

Microwave works well. I find the sensor cooking tends to make food too hot at times and I dont like having to push an extra botton to open the door

Works just as expected. Has even more features than I realized. Lock out function is awesome if you have small children, and just as awesome that it can be disabled if preferred. Sleek design. Would definitely recommend!

For us, the Panasonic Brand has always had a good reputation for quality and reliability. Many of our previous Panasonic appliances (TVs, audio-video equipment, etc.) had lasted many years. So, when our trusty old small Kenmore microwave oven started having issues (after 10 years!), our first choice to replace/upgrade this was a Panasonic. From several models available, we chose this one for its reasonable price (even better, with an "open-box" one in excellent condition), simple but stylish stainless steel looks, and its large 16-inch turntable (our old one was only 12 inches). It's only been over a month, so it's too soon to tell how long it would last. Cooking/heating quality is excellent so far. Hopefully, Panasonic does not disappoint us with this unit.

This microwave is powerful and cooks the food nicely. I hate it, though, because the control buttons are absolutely frustrating. Even after unlocking the child safety locks, it is still very hard to use the input buttons for setting the cooking time. Sometimes, after it's just finished cooking, you can immediately input another timer, then other times you can't. You're forced to clear it before using it again. Also, the buttons are very hard to push. Not worth the frustration if you ask me.

Overall, a very good unit. Everything I have used it for has turned out well, and the inverter technology does indeed seem to make a real difference when thawing seafood and frozen kimbap In terms of eliminating cold spots. I've had two issues with this microwave, Both of them fairly minor. 1) The control panel could really use either backlighting or more contrast in the background and labeling colors. I have found it to be rather difficult to make out the labels on the keys unless I really get close to it. 2) The child safety feature is very annoying, and there doesn't seem to be any permanent way to disable it. I don't have any kids around the house, so there's no real reason I should need to jump through hoops to prevent my non-existent kids from getting injured with the microwave. But the instructions provided for disabling this lock don't work. They will work for one or two uses and then revert to a locked state! I've done it repeatedly, and the same thing keeps happening. Admittedly, getting around the lock is not that big a deal and just requires one additional key press, but this really strikes me as a solution in search of a problem. Aside from the east, I find this unit to be far superior to my old one, and am very glad that I purchased it.

Really like except child proof lock. Means extra button gotta hit to open, & learn how to disable. To old to learn more. Microwave is Great otherwise.

Great countertop microwave. Quiet, compact, lots of power.

It's a decent size microwave, very sleek looking and works great. . The only function I don't like is that you have to hit the unlock button before you can open the door. I know it's probably a safety feature but I feel like I'm going to break the release button for opening the door before I make it a habit to hit the unlock button first.

I really like this microwave. Its large inside but doesnt take up alot of counter space. I have used it now for 2 1/2 months with no problems EXCEPT the child lock. I read the reviews before I bought it and even though others warned of the horrible child lock that turns on by its self if unplugged or electricity is lost. Well, 3 days ago we lost electricy and sure enough the lock came on. We can not open the door while using the microwave at all and when it does stop you have to press the 0 to get it to open. The manual says to press the stop/reset button 3 times within 10 seconds. WRONG. Does not work. Luckily several people have contacted the company and were told to press defrost, timer, popcorn within 10 seconds to shut off the child lock. Yup, that worked! SO WHY IN THE WORLD ISN'T THAT IN THE MANUAL!!!! I wrote it on the front of my manual because I'm not going to remember that next time it happens. I don't regret buying it; Its a great microwave. But because of the child lock I couldn't give a 5 star review.

A very reasonable microwave. I love the inverter technology which gives me very precise control on the power being used to cook things - that was one of the main reasons for purchase. Microwave isn't more or less noisy than any other brand, and its heating function has been great. The thing I'm not a fan of, however, is that there is a default child lock on the door. You can't open it without hitting a separate button. There's a way to disable this feature, but it resets to on any time there's a power outage / flicker (and the steps to do this are complicated, so you have to dig out the manual or look it up every time). That may seem like a minor thing, and it probably is, but I find it annoying. This aside, or if you're a fan of having the child lock on, then I'd highly recommend.

Features work great, has light inside. Instructions were not clear on how to shut off child safety lock. I had to try 3 different ways only to find out door must be open to disengage safety lock which is not stated in the book.

This is an excellent Microwave so far. It is very powerful and offers the ability to adjust the power output. It is also an inverter tech with a sensor that adjusts the power during cooking.

This is my first time using this brand and overall it works great!! It’s heats very quickly, modern and what I love it isn’t bulky

Nice product. Heats things evenly. When door opens it doesn't go back far enough -- the 2 things sticking out from the door have scratched and poked me a few times. very annoying!

I'm a fan of the Panasonic Inverter technology. I bought this for my elderly Mother-in Law, Her older Panasonic microwave still ran fine, however after many years of use, it began to show its age cosmetically. This one is similar in design so she was happy she didn't have to relearn the buttons. It has an interior light that some have complain is too dim. Compared to no light in the previous one, this light is an added bonus. We find it sufficient to determine if something is bubbling over or not. This oven heats things very quickly! The features are plentiful, and are easy to understand and operate. There are two child safety features on this. One prevents a child from inadvertently starting the machine, and the other prevents a child from opening the door and possibly scalding themselves. They are both easily disabled. Deactivate door lock by pressing Turbo Defrost, and then quickly pressing Popcorn. A long beep means success! To reactivate, use the same sequence or just unplug and plug back in. The oven start function is disabled by pressing Stop/Reset button 3 times in a row. To enable, press Start 3 times in a row. In summary, we are very pleased with the performance, features and price of this microwave.

The microwave has been perfect! It is a midsize with full power and full features. It has performed flawlessly. It is especially nice after having an underpowered small machine. It is fast and does not seem to have the hot spots that often come with microwaves.
