I just replaced a 25-year old countertop Panasonic microwave with a new one of roughly same size and power. I'm still learning the cooking methods as they are different from old one so I must rate it a 4-star for now. This one is much quieter and has all the features!

Good performing microwave. Has all the usual settings. Warms food quickly. Only negative, which exists for all microwaves in the price range, is no ability to turn off the sound. Come on manufacturers -- put this simple feature back on the microwaves.

The house we recently rented didn't come with a microwave and we couldn't bring our old one with us since it was a built-in. So we needed something inexpensive that fit on the counter. This one does the job. It would be nice if it had a light though.

Very good microwave for the money. Perfect size, can't imagine needing anything bigger. Excellent power with 1100 watts. Like the 3 level popcorn button, comes in handy. The Black finish is clean and stylish in appearance.

After a door latch failed on our Panasonic microwave, we decided to go smaller with a new microwave (from 2.2 to 1.3 cu. ft.) given we were happy with the one we had. The reduction in features is disappointing since there isn't that much more technology/programming needed to provide them, even in the smaller version...

Wanted a microwave to fit on the counter and not take up room on a cart like our other microwave that was so big. This one is perfect. Works great. Has all the bells and whistles we could possibly need with our simple use of a microwave. Easy to use. Wanted white to match our appliances, looks real classy and clean.

We did not have it long, maybe a month, before the plastic coating on the buttons are cracked and peeling off. Our last one was 9 years old and cosmetically speaking you could not tell it was not new when it decided to stop working.

Haven't had it for too long so can't attest to reliability yet but it has nice features and works well. A little loud but I'm not using it in the middle of the night so ok. Like it so far.

Doesn't take a lot of counter space. White color is easy to keep clean. The only thing I do not like is when you are using the timer on the microwave you can't cook with the microwave

It has no light or turn table but it heats the food at a great temperature and short amount of time.

It's a moderately powerful microwave for the price. It doesn't have a light, but people can stop microwaving in dark rooms. A lamp is 10 bucks and a lightbulb is a dollar. Buy a more expensive microwave... With a light on it, if you really need this as your primary light source in your house.

The only real guff I have with this model is that the interior light only comes on when the oven is on/cooking. My previous ovens the light came on whenever the door was open, so not only could you see what you were doing when you loaded it but you could also see better when taking out piping hot stuff. Aside from that the only other goofy thing is that you have to select the power level first before entering the cook time, which is the opposite of every oven I have ever owned. Now that I think about it, the buttons could be a little more responsive. You have to press hard and you can't hit the buttons too fast or they will not trigger.

This was the least expensive 1.3 cubic ft., 1100 watt microwave oven on the shelf at my local Best Buy when my old microwave started sparking and filling the house with the scent of an electrical fire. Although the interior light in new Panasonic microwave does not come on when the door is opened, something I've come to expect, it comes on when the microwave is actually operating to cook food, and the food cooking aspect seems to work fine. All microwaves have their quirks and features that vary, so I haven't learned what all of the sensor cook stuff is. Maybe it's great, but so far, I haven't seen a need to learn.

we had a very close twin to this Panasonic prior to our purchasing the new one. It worked great for us and lasted approximately 16 years. this one has a larger capacity and is slightly more powerful. Panasonic is the best for quality, price and ease of use.

This microwave is surprisingly big for how small it is. Works very well. Would have got 5 stars if the light inside turned on when the door was opened.

I bought this microwave for a business for employees and volunteers to use. It was the perfect size and power. I've had several Panasonic microwaves in the past and they hold up to hard use. This was a good choice for a variety of people to use every day.
