Panasonic Inverter Technology cooks quickly evenly

Do Not Purchase

Then while preparing some baked potatoes it stopped and tripped the circuit breaker. Reset the circuit breaker and tried turning it on, instantly tripped the breaker. Tested on another outlet which was on a different breaker, same behavior. I contacted Panasonic customer support (online) and was told it would be covered. Provided multiple photos along with filling out a questionnaire of what happened, how I was using it, etc. Was told I would hear back in seven days, I never heard back. Contacted Panasonic via a webform, never heard back. While I could have followed up even more times, life got busy and I ultimately ended up buying a different microwave from a different brand. I will only purchase from companies that stand behind their products.

Like it a lot, but a few things to be aware of

Selecting the time with a knob took awhile to get used to, but now we like it better than punching buttons. Having to press 2 buttons to open it after cooking (a default child lock feature) was annoying, but Panasonic support was excellent and they gave us the steps to disable that requirement.

Open Box Microwave

Panasonic 2.2 Cu. Ft. Microwave works very well

I like the use of a knob to set the temperature instead of a keypad. It requires pressing the Timer/Clock button to unlock the door before it can be opened (a lock is apparently required on new units) and that function could have been marked better.
