Trim kit too large for microwave

However, the trim kit is way too big, leaving large gaps all around the microwave. I would not suggest this trim kit for the model number referenced above.

BE AWARE-Nice Look but cheap plastic parts break!

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gives a nice built-in look to our microwave, but during installation one of the black plastic catches broke into 2 pieces. They tried gluing it back together with 2 different heavy duty glues, but wouldn't hold. I contacted "support" at Panasonic, Encompass (who handles their parts), Best Buy, and went back to the store. Nobody carries the "parts replacement" kit anymore. When it was available it sold for about $26 and you had to buy all the parts - not just the part that broke. Best Buy online support had the gall to suggest just buying a whole new trim kit for $190. There is no solution so be very careful or make sure your installer is very careful when installing. In hindsight I would choose a different brand microwave and trim kit.

The hole was already there from the old one and I needed to get something that would look good with the double oven below. I tried getting just a microwave to fit into her old trim kit, but it just did not look right. This solution, along with the microwave worked out well and look great.

Great microwave trim for 22 CU Panasonic

It comes with a base tray that help center the mircowave and prevent microwave from moving backward when pushing button to open microwave's door. Worth every penny. Look great.

Trim Kit for Buit In Appliance

This is a very nice looking Trim Kit and nice frame that looks very classy.
