I love the smart tv. I can get online, use youtube and pandora. The image is amazing. Also great for gaming, the graphics are awesome. It fits well in my livingroom, pretty nice size for the price.

Ok, so I bought this tv well before the holidays (October 21st I beleive) and after taxes I paid 423 (the TV was listed for 399, and normally priced at 450 before taxes) so I was pretty happy with that deal. Most people see these TV's that were for sale around Black Friday to be a great deal, but as most realistic people know, if it seems too good to be true, then. It is. Those TV's were so cheap because they had the lowest refresh rate available (60Hz) and that has to do with how well the TV handles movement (like sports, action movies, etc) . So I was out on. A mission to find a good/reliable brand that offered a SMART LED tv that was at least least 40" and has a refresh rate of at least 120Hz. (Although in retrospect I wish I had gotten a TV that had 240Hz as this TV has some troubles with motion). I came across this TV and I thougt it wasn't a bad deal. I like Panasonic as a brand and I think they make reliable products. So overall I'm pretty happy with my purchase .(although I did end up finding recently within the last two days.... A 42" Sharp LED TV for 150 dollars less than what I paid for my 40" TV and the specs were the same (meaning they both were LED's, both good brands, and both had 120Hz, except the Sharp TV wasnt a smart tv- so no access to apps on the TV, and no wifi connectivity) The TV was easy to set up, jus follow the instructions. However, the box advertises using your phone as your remote and being to jus flick photos and videos from your phone or tablet to your TV and unless it's a windows product (which i use Apple products) then your screwed. Can't use it. AND there was absolutely no instructions on how to set any of it up. You can go and searh for it in the "help" section of the TV but the directions are very unclear and confusing and ultimately don't work. Also... The picture is iffy when watching some things with motion. It seems to ghost or something when quick movements happen. The volume is good, I like that it can so high and you can adjust the types of volume options. I do enjoy the fact that there are apps like Netflix and Hulu which I use religiously and they work fine though the apps on the TV. Really wish the features they boast about on the box and in the user manuals would have told you that you can't use Apple products on the TV to use your phone as remote or anything else. And you also can't go wireless with your MacBook to mirror what is in your computer screen. The only way to use your computer on the TV is to a HDMI cable to connect it but where my TV is located... It's inpossible to comfortably do so. The HDMI inouts are on the left side of the TV... And where my TV is located i don't have a long enough HDMI cable (nor will I invest in another one) to run the HDMI cable to the opposite side where I can connect my computer to the TV. Pretty key down by those things. I would not have purchased this TV had I known that. However, Im still decently happy with this TV. Seems to get decent reviews on it. I DO like how slum the borders on this TV are too! It makes the TV seem larger than it is because of that (and i hate when tvs have huge/thick borders around it, it jus makes them seem old and outdated) I would say generally though that this TV's app functionality is the lowest quality compared to other higher end Tv's that are more expensive (like a more expensive Samsung app user face or sony) but I guess you get what you pay for in the end.

TV works fine. Picture good. Sound not as full as I would like but that may be me more than it is the TV. Home Screen menu stuff is a little goofy and inconvenient. But the picture, colors, HD, and value were all very good for a TV of this size.

Good tv at a good price. Haven't had any slowdown with fast action. Set up was not very hard. Setting up internet took a while to download updates. But my internet sucks. Haven't used the internet for streaming yet. A wireless mouse & keyboard would be a good accessory to get. Using the remote to navagate internet is verg slow. I am very happy with this tv.

This tv has an amazing picture. The smart tv is so user friendly. The size is perfect. It is very thin and not too heavy.

I got this TV for my sons bedroom. It's the perfect size for watching and also great for gaming. It's very slim and mounts well on the wall. Picture is crisp 1080p/120Hz. Sound is also great, above average than most. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it only comes with 2 HDMI ports and 1 USB. But, for the price I paid. It's not bad....... :-) Also, I didn't buy this TV for its SMART features. My son has a PS4 for that. I could have bought the same TV without the smart features on it. But, that one is only 60Hz.

Delightfully surprised with the Panasonic TC-40AS520U. We originally bought the TV for 'aesthetic' reasons. (*It fit perfectly inside an antique armoire we use for an entertainment center.) However, once the TV was installed, we were simply amazed with 1080p picture QUALITY. We added a Sony 21Channel TV Sound System to enhance the audio. The Apps are an awesome bonus! Cannot beat the value for this dynamite little package. Have decided to purchase another unit for a bedroom.

Easy to set up. Am still learning about all the features but am happy with my choice! Good value and the Panasonic name is one you can trust to deliver.

Easy switching from TV to Netflix, video, or gaming. The picture is brilliant. There is no lag in downloading. Action gaming and sports are clear.

I purchased this TV to replace my bedroom unit that died. It has a small footprint so I was able to fit a 40" where I used to only get a 37". The picture is good and the 120 hz refresh rate handles fast motion (like sports) quite well. I am, however, disappointed with the audio quality. Need to get a sound bar I guess.

I absolutely love my TV. Even my boyfriend who's a Samsung only guy really likes it too, great picture and easy set up! I did it myself!

Great TV! Picture so clear it has that "home video" effect. My only complaint is the remote, because it has a stupid layout.
