A big improvement from my 10 year old Sony

First noticed with watching basketball, also distracting when watching news programs and really bad with Blu-ray. Installer couldn't adjust it to correct this. However, a call to Panasonic and a knowledgeable technician appears to have solved the problem by changing the C.A.T.S. setting from "on" to "off". Now I am happy with my purchase.

Great Plasma TV

Went in looking for another model but followed salesman's advice, glad we did. Only issue is that that TV speakers aren't so great, we paired this with a Panasonic soundbar which has worked out great as well.

great HD TV for beginners to Home Theater

I can see image retention of the "play" "pause" etc. from my PS3 player on several still images from menu screens. Not EVERYONE can see this but I can. It does bother me a little bit. I did have 2 previous LCD HD tvs and wanted to try out a Plasma. Don't get me wrong, this is a very good TV. But in the future I'll probably look at LCD/LED (or OLED if it is affordable at the screen size I want) as those seem to have the features that I personally like in a TV.

TV with Good Picture

Easy to use controls and the remote is multi-functional. The TV is smart, but requires a hard wired Ethernet cord (it's not wireless). The TV puts out a lot of heat. This is not the case with other screen types. The TV is now 6-years old, and still works great.
