I switched over to the foil shavers a couple years ago and destroyed my last one while travelling. This has been an excellent replacement and really the best quality is time-saving. I don't have to run over the same areas 4-6 times, pretty close to manual blade shaving.

Well I purchased this razor about a month ago and its been great so far. I have very sensitive skin but, also very coarse facial hair and this razor can handle both. The blades and motor easily handle thick hair and give a very close shave. I haven't used it very long and skin irritation is minimal. The option for a wet or dry shave is great! Completely water proof :D

My husband loves the ease of using this in the shower - and he said it worked great - smooth shave, not irritating - until it just stopped working about a month into owning it. Called Panasonic they said “we have had a lot of trouble with these” - thanks for continuing to sell it then. We replaced it with another brand.

not a bad shaver. i haven't used an electric shaver in quite a while. surprised at how well it does. Using wet or dry is an awesome feature. I love being able to use it in the shower with a gel product. my only complaint is that it doesn't do a great job on a few spots on my neck. all other areas are great. my skin has never felt so smooth after shaving. I am hoping after a while, the hair on my neck will adjust & have the same affect.

Smooth shave but shaver is really loud! Someone can hear it in the other room while shaving.

I am getting very nice close shaves using it dry. It is comfortable to hold and very quiet. It is much faster and quieter than my much, much older Panasonic shaver. The higher speed of this shaver made it quieter, with almost no vibration and gives a better even more comfortable shaving experience than my old one.

Love the closeness this shaver provides. Battery lasts for more than a week between charges. I have a 6 year old version of this basic shaver and it needs a new foil and bald but still great.

This my second Panasonic shaver. The first one is still working and ten years old. I wore out one foil, replaced it and just now needed another. So I thought I would try another Panasonic. It's better than the first one. Panasonic builds a quality product, you can't go wrong.

i have tried many razors and I have been a loyal Norelco user since I started shaving, but it was time to make a change since they didn't make replacement heads any longer for my model. I tried a braun series 7, series 5 and then this one and this one did a superior job over both of the brauns.

I purchased for my husband on the last Christmas. I did not know about this is item anything. So i just pick it up by price, company, and functions. And u know what, my husband absolutly loved. It is easy to use and easy to clean. I defenetly recomended.

I am very impressed with this shaver. I had good results from a Norelco Tri-head razor, but the Panasonic is far superior. I feel that I get a much closer shave and it is easy to clean. It doesn't come with a cleaning system but it cleans up quickly and easily. Battery life is pretty good and the built in meter gives you plenty of warning before you need to plug it it to charge.

I bought this for my son for his birthday and he said it is the best shaver ever and he is very particular. He said it gave him such a great shave that he doesn't have to shave as often

I have used electric razors all my adult life, starting with Braun, a couple of Norelcos and for the last 15 years only Panasonic. My previous Panasonic (ES 8103) still works, but the battery no longer holds the 2 week charge i got spoiled with (wish cell phones could do that!) . The only maintenance it needed was regular replacement of its screens and blades. I was going to get a current version of that model until I saw the BBuy ad (and super low price) for the Panasonic Arc4 ES-LF51-A, which is another class up, for only a few dollars more. The ARC4 has four blades instead of two, a faster lineatronic speed (keeps the same motor speed - 15,000 rpm until the end of its charge cycle, in lieu of getting slower and slower towards the end), and quieter operation. The shave is smoother and gentler. Norelcos (rotary) were always smooth and gentle, but do not shave very well. Braun models are rough and can really hurt your skin if you get a nick in its screen. Panasonic has been my favorite for at least 15 years. They currently market a $300 version that cannot possibly be much better than the $150 version I got form BBuy for around $90. For non-electric users - do give electric shaving a try for 30 days to let your skin get adjusted to it. This ARC 4 model even required about 10 days for me to get used to it (the shave is that much closer than the older model). The neat thing is you can use shaving cream or whatever you like with this razor, you can rinse it under running water - no brushes to clean blades, etc. I normally shave dry, use electric preshave and postshave.

It perfectly fits the bill. This model gives the closest shave over all cheaper Panasonic shavers. The more expensive Panasonic shavers offer nothing better worth the extra money.

Does what is designed to do. The heads do not seem to float as much as my Braun did. It is easier to clean than my Braun, just us liquid soap and water.

I only shave my face once a week.. so let's face it, I was only spending money... however I was able to gift it to my soon to be son-in-law and give up the idea of shaving everyday... so as luck would have it when I meet him he needed a new shave because the old one he had was ripping his face up and I was concerned as he was a good looking kid... plus he is only 22 and lets face it the quick charge and shave is the best feature.. of course he loved it and why not; his the kid... but remember it started out to be for my old face.. so good enough for me, most defiantly good enough for the kid... especially at BF prices..

First electric razor in some time, but this was a great buy. Just got off a three week trip, used the razor twice a day and only had to recharge once.
