The phone is simple to use and setup. It pretty much sets itself up. You just have to charge it up. It started working right away. I haven't had any issues with it. I have had it about a month now. I can't tell the difference between it and the ones that came with the original phone.

Bought it to replace an existing handset for my Panasonic phone system that had the speaker break on it.

I needed an additional handset to go with my four-handset system. This was exactly what I needed and it works.

Perfect for us

This is our 2nd set of this phone system; just replaced the set we bought in Oct. 2008. We like that it 'talks to us' (announces who is calling) and that the buttons light up so we can see them in the dark. The system and four handsets was $110. An extra, single handset was $44; I think that's high. We replaced former system because it started to perform erratically regarding charging the handsets. I think 4 years battery life is not bad.

Added this to my system and set up was easy as pie. The range is great and I also added a range extender to the system. The sound quality is the best, better than a cell phone. The blue-tooth connection is handy and the call screening and voice mail at any phone set is the best.

I purchased a Panasonic base with only one cordless handset for my parents. As they liked that purchase, I purchased another identical handset. Buying the handsets with the base cost less than buying additional handset(s) but one step at a time works. The handset is sturdy, has a bright, easy-to-read display, and is easy to link to the base and to the other handset(s).
