I reviewed quite a few cordless phones and the reviews helped me make the just right choice. I chose the Panasonic KX- TGD833W Expandable Cordless Phone. The phone was very easy to set up and it has the features that I was looking for in a phone. It has the digital answering system, block unwanted callers, speaker phone and a large 1.6 backlit LCD screen. There are more features that you can compare on-line. I highly recommend this phone and can assure you that you will love this phone!

My whole family has been buying Panasonic phones for decades. This is great for older people who can't hear so well on cell phones and for those who want an "alternate" to a cell phone. Buttons are large and easy to press. Solid construction. I live in an old building with thick concrete/plaster walls and the DECT 6.0 technology signal goes around corners just great. Detailed instruction manual. It has many call blocking features to help reduce spam. Be prepared to wade into the manual if you want to enable these features. Best Buy actually shipped it faster than A-m-z. If you want a land-line, this is your phone. Highly recommended.

This panasonic phone system is just what I was looking for, I have had problems with other mfg's with the hand sets in other locations (rooms) Static. The only problem I have is ,the weight.I would like to see a little more weight in all of components.

Works great and easy to use. Even my mother, who the phone is for found it easy to use.

Got these to replace a VTECH set whose LED screens had gone bad. The Panasonic is a great replacement. Similar buttons and button placement. Unit has an answering machine but also indicates if the phone company messaging service has a message. On the second ring when a call is received, the phone announces the caller ID. When the base station answering is on, the red number of messages waiting indicator is lit. If answering is turned off, the indicator is dark. I got this phone set for my parents and the only issue I've had is having the answering machine on / off button so close to the message play button. Occasionally, the answering machine gets turned off instead of playing messages. Again, since this phone was for my folks, there are a ton of great features that we aren't using.

I don't know how it does it, but we had two junk phone calls on our landline after I bought this phone system, which I blocked, and haven't had a single robo or junk call since. Amazing! Other than the "voice" of the phone being a little robotic and not pronouncing some names well, it's a really good product.

Love this phone. So easyt o use. I like how compact the base is. I would recommens this phone.

Good sound, long lasting battery and easy to set up. It also has a longer range than the phones I replaced. The price was also very reasonable.

I am very pleased with this phone. It was easy to assemble and works very well. The instructions for use are very clear. This replaces a very old phone I had for many years.

Our DECT telephone broke down. That caused panic in our home. Our daughter did in a short time this DECT set on Best Buy. We judged the set if it could meet our needs. We ordered it online. Two hours later we could pick. It up in the shop. Installed it home. Works very good. Clear sound.

Our family needed a new set of phones, as our previous ones had stopped working. These phones were a great replacement. As the phone rings the caller or phone number is announced to let you know who is calling. In addition to this your able to review voice messages, which is one of the top reasons I selected this phone. The phones are light weight and can the range is great. The phones also come with a menu where you are able to have a phone book, display the caller list, retrieve voicemails, intercom others throughout the house, select the setting menu, receive customer support, speed dial calls, set the time and date, and even features a baby monitor option. Kinda cool! Overall not a bad price for a telephone system.

We needed something simple for my 95 year old Mother and this fit the bill. Easy to install, easy to use. No charge on the battery straight out of the box, and it takes 8 hours to charge. Good value.

Great phone. Clear reception and easy to use. Initial phone setup is fairly easy, instructions are clear.

I like the side panel. The voice for the answering machine is very clear. Glad there are three phones.
