Customers are saying

Customers love the ease of use and excellent sound quality of the Link2Cell DECT 6.0 phone. Many appreciate the Bluetooth functionality, caller ID features, and long range. While some found the instructions could be improved, the positive feedback on features like the answering machine and call blocking outweighs this minor concern.

    Best of Both Worlds

Both my wife and I have cell phones, and we're really considering dropping the line land. In the midst of procrastinating, we needed new phones, as the old ones were, well... old. After doing some research, we decided on the 3 handset Panasonic KX- TGE263S. The best thing is being able to bluetooth our cell phones to this unit. So when we get a call on our cell, this phone rings and we don't have to go searching for the cell (this is really my wife, who always leaves it in her purse or who knows where). Having the three handsets spread out in the house makes it very handy. There are also some nice features, if you want to use them. The unit will announce the caller from caller ID, it will block calls (especially the "toll free calle" - there's not enough space for caller, so it just says calle!), and notifies you if you have vm. With the convenience, features, and price this is a good product for dual line land and cell users. It also works on only cell, so if you don't have your cell surgically attached to your cheek, it is quite handy.

Solid upgrade from our previous phone

Our old phone base died suddenly and we had to get a new one. This set was the only one with a headphone jack, which was a must, so we went with it, even though we weren't too sure about the talking caller ID (we didn't have that on the old phone). However, we were pleasantly surprised at how unobtrusive that feature has been, and we were even able to edit the caller ID text so that it uses a personal name for phone numbers we know rather than what comes through in the caller ID. We've also enjoyed all the other little extras, like musical ringtones, which we set to Jingle Bells for the holidays (there are still the normal ringtones for a total of 5 tones and 10 melodies). The sound is clear. The whole phone lights up and blinks when a message is waiting, so no more not noticing there's a message. You can also retrieve and erase messages from any phone handset without ever having to mess with the base. It was easy to set up, including turning off the ringer for the phone in the bedroom, while leaving the others on.

An updated version of a similar three- handset wireless phone we purchased years ago. This model has Bluetooth connectivity to a headset or you can receive cell phone calls on the phone..Also has an answering machine built into Tito the base. When a call comes in, the phone announces the caller or phone number. Nice large display and clock. This DECT 6.0 phone sounds clearer than my older non-DECT model. It works well with my Comcast VOIP service. Just plug the main base into the cable modem jack and you're set to go!

These new phones, 3 in the pkg. we bought, are a great upgrade for us. They have much clearer sound transmission to better understand what others say to us, and what we say to others. Everyone I talk to and ask, say they can understand us much better. They have a longer range, and much longer battery life.

Works great as a landline phone and also as a bluetooth device. When I am at home, I answer almost all of my cellphone calls on this handset. I can plug in my iPhone and use this instead. It reads contacts directly from the iPhone and works pretty seamlessly. The instructions could be a little better though. Takes a few times to figure out exactly how to make it work.

I bought this Panasonic phone because i kept having dropped calls with my previous phone. This Panasonic phone is perfect -- sound is excellent, and i have not had a dropped call since i bought it. It is easy to use many of the various features on it, such as the speakerphone and call waiting. So glad i purchased this one -- this came with 3 phones, which is great, as i put one in our kitchen, one in our family room, and one in the bedroom. Perfect Phone!

Phones work great! Easy to setup, the sound is good, wireless distance from the base station is great, ergonomics and illuminated buttons makes it easy to use. Haven't setup the link to cell yet so that's why I only gave this a 4 star rating.

Love this phone! Like the way it looks, feels, the button size, and the light display. Favorite features are the ringtone choices and easy to use answering machine. There are additional features this phone offers, such as Bluetooth, which I have not yet tried out. But I really like this phone, and I don't regret spending a little extra on it.

    Panasonic has done it again

I have always used Panasonic phones because they always prove to be great quality and have features none of the other brands can hold a candle to. I just switched from a landline phone to Voip and needed something with multiple handsets. I coiuld not believe that Panasonic makes a phone where I can use the handsets to make and answer calls from my cell phone. I set it up so that my cell and my Voip all have unique ring tones. The instructions are easy to follow. Phone light flashes when there are messages. The handsets use standard AAA NiMH batteries and the ringer can be programmed on or off by time of day so that a ringing phone in the middle of the night doesn't wake you. Oh and it has a phone number block option for unwanted telemarketer calls. The only reason I didn't give this model 5 stars is because it is only available with an answering machine and my phone service includes voice-mail. The good news is you can disable the answering machine (which I have).

Programming was relatively easy. The one hang up is that I cannot see who is assigned to the speed-dial numbers. You have to press and hold a number and if that is the right guess then go ahead and let the phone dial. If no, hang up and try again. Short of keeping a list at each phone you have to memorize who is assigned to 10 numbers. Not hard but a challenge for older persons with short memories

I only had a single land line in my house but wanted to have phones in other rooms and in the finished basement. I didn't want to run additional phone lines so I was looking for something that worked without additional wiring. I connected the base unit into the land line and then just plugged in the other two extension units into the electrical outlets and that was it. One extension unit is in the opposite corner of the house about 50 feet away and the other is on a different floor. Both extension phones work great and the sound is very clear. I don't use the Bluetooth capabilities so I can't comment on how it works. The phone has a lot of other features such as a speaker phone (where the sound is also very clear), call waiting, caller ID and has a clear display and big buttons which makes it easy to dial.

I bought this phone system because I cancelled my landline but still wanted the convenience of a multi handset home phone. The Bluetooth is easy to set up. I was able to download the contacts on both of our cell phones to the wireless base. Caller id works great. It does everything that I hoped it would do. It will also work with your landline if you have one.
