    Perfect for situations you still need to use the camera & battery is dead. Can change batteries, use the charged battery that comes with the travel charger, and charge the dead battery that was in the camera & keep snapping pictures. With out the travel charger would have to plug the camera into the electrical outlet.

    If you do not like in camera usb charging this is a nice option with both a charger and battery. However, it is pricey if you do not get it on a special.

    In the middle of a great show and battery died? Travelling in a beautiful place and battery died? You need a quick change out, always have a back-up charged battery ready to go.

    Awesome for my Panasonic GX85 now have several extra batteries and this charger. Works great had to charge battery in camera only now just plug and charge.

    So glad to have a second battery and charger. Never fails on a long road trip, the camera is going to die right in the middle of trying to take pictures that you'll never get again!
