The Nanoe is a quality piece of work. Feels solid, weighty, and well built to the hand. If you're used to cheap, light, throwaway driers, might take a bit to get used to, but once you get the balance of handling it, you'll love it. First impression on unboxing it - wow - nice long 9 foot cord - a rarity today since manufacturers seem intent on making their product with the shortest cord possible - great feature. The air flow is strong & consistent, and the 3 heat settings are nicely progressive. The cool shot is a nice feature as when you feel you're getting a little too hot, instead of having to switch the heat off, just hit the cool shot - nicely thought out. The fact that it's certainly quieter than most is the final thumbs up. Overall, the nicest drier I've seen outside of a hair salon.

Planned on getting a dryer for a while now. I tend to be critical of items I purchase - I work hard for the money to buy them. This is something I was very pleased with and am glad to have taken a chance. The most important thing though is that it works as advertised. I have thin, fine and oily hair. I take showers daily and sometimes twice/ day (post gym, outdoor activities). There are 3 heat settings and 2 speed settings (very straight forward), There is also a cool shot button and comes with 3 attachments. I haven't tried the removable filter yet as I just got it. Easy and simple.

I really wasn't sure what to expect with this one as hairdryer technology hasn't changed much in years and most over dry and damage hair in their efforts to get the wet out. Whatever Panasonic has done works! This hairdryer doesn't just dry your hair with a hot blast of air, it works to gently dry your hair without the typical damage associated with blow drying. PROS - Simply to use design - Nice balance in your hand, not too heavy or bulky - New technology helps dry without damaging your hair - Great for a beginner or professional use CONS - Costs more than one would expect to pay for a hair dryer

I received this hair dryer through Best Buy's Tech Insider Network in exchange for an honest product review. My family and I have been evaluating it daily for about two weeks now and are actually quite impressed. The Nanoe technology that we thought might be hype, isn't! PROS: The most important feature of this hair dryer is its Nanoe technology which uses electricity to split airborne moisture molecules into charged particles that bind to the hair. This results in smooth, shiny, healthy looking hair. We style our 6 year old granddaughter's hair every day using a leave-in conditioner, round brush, and a standard hair dryer. All previous hair dryers left her hair dry and frizzy. The positive difference the Panasonic Nanoe hair dryer made was obvious from its very first use. And now, after two weeks of daily use, we can get her hair as shiny and smooth looking with just this dryer and a round brush, as it previously took with costly shine products added and a lengthy hot ironing process. Both of which are damaging to the hair. Drying time was cut in half and yet the required temperature was much cooler allowing for less heat related damage to the hair. Without a doubt, this is the quietest hair dryer we've ever owned. Construction is so sturdy that its makes you think you're holding a commercial product. The 9 ft long power cord is great for chasing around after a fidgety six year old girl's hair. This hair dryer comes with three attachments, has three temperature settings, and a two-speed fan. There is also a Cool Shot button to quickly cool the hair when needed. The filter is very easy to remove and clean. CONS: Along with the sturdy construction comes weight. In the hand this hair dryer definitely has the heft or "feel" of a good product. However, we think it could be made a little lighter and still be a high quality product. When the diffuser is attached, the hair dryer becomes somewhat top-heavy. The bulky handle makes it a little harder to hold if you have small hands. The Nanoe technology process gives off a mild odor. It's nothing offensive, but it is noticeable. RECOMMEND: Because this Nanoe technology hair dryer delivers what it promises in the way of improved hair, I can recommend it. However, I think the Panasonic engineers need to look for areas where they can trim some weight and maybe achieve a better balance when the diffuser is attached.

This is a nice blow dryer, but unfortunately it isn’t powerful enough for me and I had to return it.

This is for my mothers in law. She always had a bad hair dryer. She really loves it.
