An excellent shaver

This is my first venture into the world of electric shavers and I have to admit I was a little skeptical about them. That quickly changed after my first time using this one. It shaves just as close, if not closer, than the blades I've been using. There is no need to spend twice what this sells for when this one shaves so well.
The design is quite good and with the rubber grips it's very easy to hold on to although it feels a little on the heavy side. The pivoting blades and head make for a close shave without having to put too much effort into it. Battery life is very very good. I use mine at least once a day and a full charge lasts over a week and a half. While most shavers have a low battery warning, this one has a display the shows battery life (in increments of 20%) which is a really nice feature. I like the flexibility of having a wet/dry shaver depending on if I want a quick shave in front of the mirror or a really close one in the shower. Cleaning is a breeze and all you need are soap, water, and a few seconds. No need for gimmicky self-cleaning shavers that force you to buy their cleaning solution.
I've been using it for about a month and I couldn't be happier with it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this one to family and friends. It's worth every penny of its retail price.

Switch Problem with These GREAT Panasonic Shavers

Great shaver for the price ... dual voltage is nice ... close shave ... wet or dry.
But, the switch may stop working ... mine stopped at 5 months and then you can not charge or use the unit.
Go here to fix it on you own ...

Good luck on this GREAT shaver ... I have tried them all and this is the best for all of those out there right now. Maybe the wet causes the switch to stop working ... I do not know!

All of the reviews are true. This shaver is an outstanding value. Super close shave, very fast, and easy to clean. I was a loyal Braun user for 10 years. This shaver is significantly better than my 6000 series Braun and about 1/3 the price. Don't let the low price fool you. This is a top of the line shaver.

It's been 20 years since I have tried/used an electric razor. I never would have purchased one but am on blood thinners due to a blood clot and my doctor said I can only use an electric razor.
In the past I was left with irritation and ingrown hairs....not the case here! What I get is a close shave with no irritation at all. I use it dry which saves me the hastle of shaving cream etc. When done you simply take the top off, rinse it under water and it is as clean as new.
My greatest surprise was shaving on the neck, no problems at all. Charges fully in one hour, gentle on the face and a shave that equals a blade razor. For $60 it is a no brainer. I may even buy a 2nd one as an extra.

I bought this because of the 'Reviews' posted here... I have had a lot of high end, high priced others - but was never really satisfied. Always went back to a blade... Now I am on the road at odd times based on my job - I charged this in a very short time and just threw it in my car. It has an excellent feel, is smooth and does a pretty good job compared to a 'regular' razor.... No skin problems - the other reviewers here were right on.

Seeing that electric shavers were a new world to me, I looked up many different shavers looking for 1 with good quality for a decent price. This is one of the only shavers I came across with mainly good ratings and I have to say all the reviews are true! This shaver gives a close and smooth shave and its so easy to clean. I can't believe the deal I got for it! It's definitely worth more! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Listen.......When buying electric razors price does not
equate to performance........I had a high end Braun
shaver with the cleaning stand( $$$ Gimick) and it shaved OK but this shaver shaves better and it can be
used as a wet or dry shaver. It also is easy to clean
and you don't have to buy any cleaning stand refills
or pricy cartridges which are just a way they make more
money from your initial purchase.

I really love this razor. I have sensitive skin and shaving electric though far better than a blade can still be irritating enough to cause razor bumps and ingrown hairs. Up to this point I had been using a Norelco with the lifters removed which worked very well actually. A friend of mine has been a tried and true braun user for several years and constantly sings the virtues of shaving with a foil. So, I decided why not. I looked at this panasonic both because of its price (at least a hundred dollars cheaper than a braun of similar features) and because of panasonic's faster motors which have a reputation for being very gentle on the skin while also delivering a good close shave. Well the rumors are true. This device really lives up to the hype. My skin has never felt so good and I very rarely see any irritation let alone ingrown hairs. Try it, Best Buy has a good return policy if you don't like it.

Traded my more expensive shaver for this one

I recieved a norelco speed xl shaver for christmas that was worth about 90 dollars. The first week of shaving was a nightmare. The worst irritation and razor burn and break outs, it tore my face apart. I thought that I just needed to give my skin time to adjust because I was formerly using a Fusion razor. Finally I couldn'e take the all day pain and irritation anymore. My freind recommended trying a foil style shaver to see if that would work. I did some research and picked this one. This was my final attempt into the world of electric razors. By the first shave I was in love. First of all when using shaving cream the shaver is extremely comforatable and the shave is super close, just about as close as with my fusion. Even shaving dry is easy, but not as comforatable. I have yet to have any irritation or break outs. I love this razor and I will now exclusively use it to shave with. Needless to say I returned the norelco.

Great shaver!
Charged for only 2 hours...3 days growth gone in 4 minutes.
No razor burn at all. Neck whiskers shaved quickly.
Former "Norelco" user. Only Panasonic from now on.
Very excellent shaver & worth more to me than what I paid.
Highly recommended!

I've shaved with electrics since about 16, i.e. for 25 years now. I'm half-Indian, so I've got coarse facial hair. Since about 1992, I've used exclusively Panasonics and love the wet/dry ability. I feel this is probably their best all-around shaver. I purchased mine about 5 years ago, to replace an ES8152, and the battery has just died. I've just purchased another one online from BB. It's a little slower in the motor than the ES8152, but the battery life of this ES7103 is more inline with my expectations, vs the 2 yrs I got with the 8152. I have never needed to replace the blades or foil on this ES7103, and get, as my GF says "baby-butt smooth" shaves. I tend to use it wet, either over the sink or in the shower. The trimmer makes sideburn edging easy. The universal voltage adapter works well in India, UK, and USA. The only issue I have is the pivoting head only pivots side-to-side and not also front-to-back. I find this causes narrow shaving "stripes" around tight curves and contours, which forces me to go over some of those areas multiple times.

I purchased this as a birthday present to replace the Remington Titanium MS 5500 that my husband bought for around $100 a year ago. He hated that shaver from day one, and after using it for a month gave up on it and switched to disposable shavers out of fear of wasting more money on a subpar product.
He loves the look and feel of the Panasonic, and the shave is very comfortable.
Because he shaves his head and trims his beard daily it's very important that he gets the job done quickly, and so far there are no nicks or scratches. He's even mentioned the possibility of using it on his way to work when he's running late. I think we have a winner...

Great but... died after a year

This is a great razor. Most will be very suprised at how close of a shave it gives. However, after sometime ithe razor blades do seem to dull, so you have to go over some trouble spots a few times. Of course you can always replace the blades.
The one problem I had with this razor was that it stopped working after a year. It looks like the battery that it comes with is dead, and you can't use the razor while it is plugged into the wall. Even though it died, I'd still probably by it again. Comparing the price of this electric razor for 1yr - 1 1/2yrs, and constantly buying regular razor blades. I'd still recommend this purchase. But you should also think about picking up a warranty with the razor.

This is such a great shaver. I had an $80 Braun for about a year as my first electric. I really didn't like how it missed so many hairs and how it would miss the thin soft ones....especially on my neck. This shaver is so comfortable and with one or two simple passes, you have skin as smooth as a baby's bottom. No irritation or razor burn/bumps. SAY GOOD BYE TO MANUAL RAZORS AND HELLO TO Panasonic's Pro-Curve Men's Triple Blade Shaver!!!!!!

I agree with other reviews on this product that this shaver requires you to go over the same area over and over. It took me more than 2x the time to shave with this shaver compared to my previous shaver. The shaver also leaves patches of unshaved hair making inconsistent. The shaver does not allow you to use it if plugged in. You can only use this shaver strictly off the battery. The good thing about this shaver is that it is well built however that is the only good thing about it.

The best way to shave is to use this automatic shaver, worry-free of being cut by a blade. Fear not for it will make you comfortable, not only in your skin- also the way it shaved your beards. Easy to use- charge it 40% and your all set.

All the reviews here are right on. Thanks, it helped me decide because I previously had a panasonic shaver from 2 years old, it was good, not great but it broke.. so I was hesitant to buy panasonic again. Also mainly because the last one I had didn't shave very closely and always misses the neck hair or the small weird direction hairs and was not super gentle on the skin. Sometimes it pulls out my hair instead of shaving it like its blade wasn't very sharp...
But after reading all the great reviews here and seeing the price this has compares to other shavers, and also it doesn't come with those big washing stand (I don't like it), I decide to give it a shot. I have it for 1 day so far, and right when I use it, I was like wow, what a difference. This really works great and smooth on my skin. I won't repeat what others already said, but basically everything other reviews mention about how good this shaver feels and shaves is true.
Highly recommend it!
