A lot of tv for less than $1000.00. Like the size, 58 inch screen, big but not huge, just right. Lots of cool built in apps, love watching YouTube on the tv that is streaming from my iPad. Really good picture quality. Built in sound is not that great. I am running it through a Denon home theatre system and it sound great that way. Not a big fan of the menus. Felt that some of them are not very intuitive. Took a while to get everything hooked up. Would buy this tv again, overall very happy now that I am past the initial learning curve.

Well, I'm a loyal Panasonic brand customer, this was my 3rd TV since 2009: 1st was 42" plasma #sold it to a friend, still works perfect#, 2nd - 42" LED-LCD - excellent TV, moved and needed a little bigger diagonal. Obvious choice - Panasonic, was hesitant to buy 58" but well, bought it anyway. Easy set up, excellent picture. Wanted to return it but kids asked not to...screen was too big, took me a month to get used to it. Movies looked different #i guess it's called soap effect#, kinda too realistic. Excellent Netflix menu! Like dedicated Netflix button on the remote. Now interesting part: 2 month later I started to notice lighter/whiter shades on a black background #you know when picture should be all black it was not uniformly black#. Next month I noticed corner areas started to be brighter. I checked with BBY guys well since I have not purchased Protection Plan they referred me to Panasonic TS. My first call was in vain - how can you describe a visual defect to the guy over the phone?:#. I took my Canon camera I started to take pictures once a month #black screen with bright spots#, in March it was too obvious to ignore the problem! I called Panasonic again, this time I got email and forwarded all the pictures I took within 4 month #have to do it three times since their server cannot accept attachments over 10 MB#. To my surprise they acknowledged defect and said they will take it back! The girl from CS explained me how everything should go, well, I have to email her few times to expedite the process. 1st-third party carrier came 5 days later than initially scheduled, 2nd - my refund check was not mailed at the day of the pick up, it was processed only week later. It means I'm on my second week without TV and missing some NBA games ;#. Now I'm thinking getting big plasma, Panasonic does not make them anymore so I'm looking at Samsung or new LED with Panasonic :#.

I had the Geek Squad come to my house to set up my Smart TV. Well they came without a Panasonic remote. I was told that I had to go to the store to get a Panasonic remote because the technicians had another call to get to. I felt they should have finished with me first because I was first. I went to the store to get the remote when I get to the store, the person I was told to see did not know I was coming nor did they have the Panasonic remote. I had to buy a Universal Remote and batteries for the remote!!! I was then told that I would have to wait until a Panasonic remote could be ordered and mailed to my home address. The remote came with someone else name on it. As of 2-27-14, I have not been instructed on how to use the Apps on the Smart TV!!!
