Great 4K Player

I have had no problems with this unit since the purchase. The movies load up quickly and there has been no problems with movies failing to load. The player has several features that I do not use so I cannot evaluate them here. I have had many high end players in the past that were very frustrating because of the time they took to load the movies but the Panasonic is quick. It is a great player for the price.

Worth picking up

It's a great Blu-Ray player!

Better than Sony

Probably the best sub-$200 4K UHD player
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very solid 4K UHD player, especially for under $200 -- it can sometimes be found on sale for as little as ~$150. Probably the best tonemapping in this range for handling HDR, especially if your display can't do full HDR10 (like pretty much all projectors), though it doesn't support Dolby Vision, which should be just fine for all except some very discriminating videophiles w/ the best DV-capable setup -- most folks probably won't notice the diff at all. Just wish it also included SACD playback like the Sony counterparts, but otherwise, probably the best sub-$200 4K UHD player on the market, if you don't really need DV support...

MOVIES - A PASSION

However, I am addicted to watching movies, especially from the 40s, 50s, etc. Not so much the movies from the last 10 - 20 years. So. the movies I have, which is quite a collection, some on DVDs and most recently Blu-Ray. This one player allows me to watch both formats. Very, very pleased with it.

Nice 4K BluRay Player

It also upscales DVDs and standard BluRays very nicely. It had plenty of tools to use and apps if you need to use it as your “smart” TV driver.
